Alot of the lives in that auditorium would have been different? Shit, alot of OUR lives here at home, would have been different. Some of that produced music and beats got me through some of the worst times in my life and through music, I was able to see those events through and raise my head up for a better time. I’m so happy for him!! I was there when hip hop was forming, I saw the different artist from the different parts of the world. When I saw the beast of NWA, that changed my life. The production and business talent of Dre and the lyrical contribution of Ice Cube made the creation of a guy who wasn’t even trying to be a rapper possible, Eazy E was one of the first examples that he could spot talent. If you look at the catalogues of Eazy E, Snoop, 50, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar alone, that is enough content to entertain you for years,the dude is a mad scientist in production and beats. You know a Dre beat when you hear it. I’m so glad he is getting this while he is still alive, we almost lost this man a few years ago and I’m so glad he bounced back and is still here supporting up and coming artists. I love to see the originators welcome the new ones and not feel threatened by them or the need to diss them ,like some of them often feel the need to do. It’s enough money out here for everybody, let’s support each other and be positive, loved the speech, congrats Dre, NWA fan 4 life!!!!!

Well said!!! I may be a 50 year old heavy metal fan, but hip hop was my WHOLE world spending every waking moment roller skating in my teens... yeah! I love grand master flash and Metallica... run DMC and Aerosmith opened up a whole new world for me... but Dre is a true legend and I still jam to my hip hop roots (when I’m not banging my head, Lol)... I am 50 and grew up in the BEST time... where my favorite musical worlds collided and it was phenomenal!!!
