2:00 You are forgetting that Maomao was only in the area to solve that "case" by chance. 9:30 The fuck were they surprised about? Didn't this always happen in the past? The three sons are reacting like it's something new. 14:54 That's a mistranslation, you can hear him say hayai. He was saying it would be faster to ask someone from there. *SPOILER:* 14:57 Hope seems to die.. surely but slowly.
Maomao is a young lady with many talents. If she was in high school, she would definitely be a valedictorian type of student on their way to an Ivy League school.
I do wonder if she would struggle in any subject(s) 🤔 Since she seems to have selective learning, like when she was "studying" to be a court lady haha - Dani
@@Okkotsu86275 I dunno, she got that A-grade slap. She has a lot of power in that tiny tiny frame. Jokes aside, it's pretty clear she has little knowledge of law or business and also her knowledge of politics is very limited too. She knows enough to be careful, but she does slip up here and there and doesn't quite understand everything, like the hairpin situation was her being 120% ignorant to what was obvious to everyone around her.
Highschool curriculums aren’t really conducive for Maomao’s talents tho. Studying and exam taking aren’t her strongest suits. However, I think she will thrive during University and during her internship. She’ll probably get a passing grade for minor subjects she’s not interest in tho.
Eutectic alloys can have much lower melting points. For example Cerrobend (50% Bismuth, 27% lead, 13% tin, 10% cadmium) [also known as Wood's metal] has a melting point of 70C. This and it's high density makes it's useful to manufacture shielding blocks for radiotherapy (and for making keys almost in the method described in the show). It is however, toxic to touch, with most of the metals involved having biological half lives of 30+ years. And exposure to heavy metals does fun (well Maomao would think si) things tp a living creature over the long term.
Lol, I like how no matter what Basen says Maomao just does what she wants...like he isnt there. 😂
You guys pretty nailed everything this episode! I'm so excited for episode 17-19!

Presumably there usually being a fish in the fishbowl disrupted the water or blocked the light enough that it didn't focus into a beam.
@@WonSab I was pondering that as well but they said it was a goldfish. Those are tiny.
this show really is amazing and made me remember this one 2000s anime called "Detective School Q"
This episode totally felt like figuring out a challenge in a video game.
Lakan is trolling Jinshi trying to get Jinshi to ask Maomao the question about lowering the value of a courtesan.
Maomao is Sherlock, jinshi is Watson,... Who are Mycroft, Moriarty, and Adler?
I do have to say the Maomao is pretty smart and very wise to look instead of just yammering for no reason and joking.

@@TheReactPack That is actually a very good question. I think P.E. would be one of them.

people like maomao tend to not do well in school causer they only care about what catches their interest, everything else gets ignored

Rose alloy with lead, tin, and bismuth(?) can melt as low as 100 degrees.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose's_metal
Since they are from that country with the weird units: that's 100°C (actually, it says as low as 94°C).

@@reverance_pavane Those are already listed in the table of the linked article but the alloy depicted in the anime seems to be Rose's.
