Hello! It’s been quite some time! Happy December, my birthday is coming soon. Just 3 more days. It feels like yesterday that I had my last birthday. I’m scared but I’m also looking forward to this new chapter. I didn’t think I’d make it this far, a lot of regrets and opportunities. The birthday melancholy washes over me, I don’t want to grow up. I still feel like that past me, I kinda miss her, she was oblivious and carefree! Anyways I gotta go back to work :) I still have studies to do and today was quite eventful. I feel like this is gonna be another exhausting week. But I’ll make through it, gotta make it to Friday. To whom ever reads my comment- I hope you find peace, take care of yourself okay? Drink water and eat something, slow down and be present. After all, when you want something, all of the universe conspires to help you achieve it. 🍀
My birthday is December 23rd, so happy birthday for us! I'm not in the mood to celebrate Christmas and my birthday this year because my father passed away last September, but I'm doing my best to not let the pain take control of me.

It was really hard for me to accept that winter/Christmas was coming at first- missing our late uncle- it took writing some poetry and a lot of prayer, and now my heart has finally been able to slowly embrace winter and Christmas. Christmas and the winter season has been so much harder this year. The 'wound' is not as open and fresh, but I still feel such grief and feel a bit lonely , and my family and I are really struggling emotionally. We'll be ok. But it's not easy, grief is a long exhausting road that eventually gets to the point to where it isn't as bumpy or hilly as time goes on...but it's never smooth- you always hit a bump now and then and just have to cry from the pain. But, I pray you have a wonderful birthday and Christmas and think of good times with a smile, your dad would want you to be happy. 💖
