This looks like something out of beauty store... basically a digital powder box... and that's the appeal of it. I mean why not? Thanks Astrid! Gliss is the step in the right direction. I hope we will see it in retail! (correction - it was somewhere but i've never seen one).
@@oromoiluig I feel ya. But it appears it has the capability of being a CV recorder with a software update. Sometimes you just need a CV recorder. I love modules with more than one purpose. Also, it could be another selling point. - cheers
@@oromoiluig Sorry for not answering your Q. It could be handy just for a visual of your CV, the touch can be temporarily overwritten by you finger then when you let go it goes back to the recorded CV. I can post more ideas if I think of them. Is it something you would consider?
@@StingrayOfficial "I love modules with more than one purpose." well I guess this already has a number of purposes ... "just for a visual of your CV", yes it does that right now, just without recording. Another issue with CV recording is that you'd probably need two inputs to make it useful: one for CV in and one for trigger/sync in, but there is only one input available Last, RAM is not huge on this (112KB), of which only about 80KB are free for "recording". At the current sampling rate of 42500Hz, supposing you store 16 bit samples, that would be about 920ms, not particularly useful. One can downsample, but how much would you downsample? 4.25kHz for 9.2 seconds? 425Hz for 92 seconds? Where does it start getting too granular? I see how one could use this as en extension of the Signal mode, where instead of manipulating a live input CV you are manipulating a recorded CV, but I think the lack of an independent sync input limits its usefulness.
I heard great things from others (I was busy with my own interview stage at the event) about how good this felt and how responsive it was.
That's a pretty clever LED/PCB layout for that effect!

@@Hrotti i had no idea bro, never seen one online! thnks!
Lovely module...so many possibilities. Need 5 of 'em. Ta for all the freebies I fleeced yer ;-)
I want this so bad. Waiting for it to be available in Canada
it's available on nightlife electronics in Canada
or can purchas from mouser / crowdsupply, they are in the US but I _think_ they have free shipping and pre-paid VAT when shipping to Canada.
Very cool
That's cool
Nice! Does this record incoming CV? If not, it needs to be programmed in. PLEASE
it doesn't at the moment. How would you use the CV recording in combination with touch control? What would the touch do?

@@oromoiluig Thank you so much for your reply, that was really insightful. This module is amazing as-is, you will sell tons of them! Congrats!
Four of these is 600€. You can get Intellijel Tetrapad and Tete for the same price.
it's cool, wouldn't pay 150 pounds for one module, but it's cool.
It has a recorder. Doesn’t seem overpriced.
I think the price is right... It's actually kinda cheap
