7 almost 8 months sober from being on methamphetamines for over 12 years straight. And I'm still being tormented by this past experience. I know it doesn't just go away but any energy of upliftment and peace would be appreciated. the struggle is so real but I'm here and I'm strong. I fought for 5 years to get my kids back and out of the system. I finally got stability and got my 3 kids back at home with me, I will not let my children go again and I will not let them or myself down.

When I was getting sober 6 years ago, I will never forget what someone told me...."Build a life you don't feel the need to escape from". I battled opiates for 2 decades. I can honestly say that I am grateful for that experience. Shut the door! I can't get over how bang on your readings are for me. I'm having a very, very dark tower moment as I'm being pushed out of a job I've been doing for 10 yrs. I'm very good at my job but I'm surrounded by new peeps who would rather play with drama and are disrespectful to me and another while going thru this transition. However, when dealing with narrow-minded, narcissistic people who have already made up their mind and will never admit they may have made a mistake.
