There is no advantage to renting a home that trumps the advantage of owning a home. All the '' advantages'' you mentioned associated with renting is not restricted by also owning a home. Even if you have to move for that promotion you can rent out that existing property to offset the rent at the new location

Yes it is a great platform. Unfortunately it’s not accessible to all but I am optimistic that the Caribbean will embrace a similar model soon specifically for real estate. I am doing some research and will announce here if I find one that is accessible in more locations.

It is a pity you can't set it up personally but remember anyone can create a LLC in the US and use that to conduct business without being a citizen. We can also have US bank accounts without being a citizen so it is all possible, it all depends on how much we are willing to do. I am gonna share it as a business idea in a video as well and propose it to a financial institution in Jamaica. Maybe they will take it on.

Very good questions. A business in an investment so that’s a needed sacrifice and is a strategy to achieve a specific goal. That is not living within your means. That’s what’s necessary to progress. I actually believe in minimalism although I don’t practice it. I don’t think we should spend on things we don’t need. Minimalism is a deliberate decision to make do with less, living within your means with when you must make do with less. That’s great, you are on the right path and your questions speaks to how investment oriented you are. Great job!
