There is something really captivating in singing and it’s called “subtlety”...Makayla had it, she was soothing in her approach of the song, she went high but fell from those notes so softly and with tenderness, she made the song her own and was delightful to hear, the other girl, Cynia, who supposedly had to “teach” Makayla how to sing the song did the worst to me, she was belting like it was a powerhouse song and NO, in this song the message is the powerhouse and this song specially is a test of how humble and smart is the artist in the way they showcase their voice and talent, this is not a song to shout loudly, prayers are better listen to when they’re whispered
Very true... The moment Makayla sang the first word, I could feel the warmth and calmness that radiated from within her. Although I felt that cyniah was soft in her approach initially, but as the song progressed she began to take things up a notch which I felt wasn't necessary. Sometimes the most simple things leave the most profound impact and make the entire experience truly worth cherishing. Anyways on the whole the performance was enchanting... I really appreciate the way you've crafted your view. You deeply feel the intricacies of the art of singing...😇
