I made enough money to fill my days with reading, writing, making music and art for fun, hiking and weights. Life is great. Never been happier, certainly not while working. I hated every minute of that crap!
If I’m creating this simulation I would like to know where the settings screen is. I Feel like I need to lower the difficulty and increase resource production.
The first thing the simulation designers would have done is making sure we never get to access or modify the code. Something they talk about in AGI safety
I imagine that there will be all kinds of things that people do with not just the freedom from work, but the freedom from scarcity. Imagine having the resources of someone like a billionaire. An army of robots that can construct anything or play any role. A megawatt of electricity per day to play with, totally free. People will be sucking carbon out of the atmosphere by the ton because it's cheaper to build diamondoid construction material that way than from using something like steel or aluminum. Imagine every town resembling something like an amusement park. Roller coasters, ferris wheels, mechanical bull-style flight simulators, haunted houses, 1800's western-style saloons, pirate ships, giant mecha suits, to-scale replica statues of Godzilla. Everyone would have the most outlandish gawdy sports car you can imagine in their driveway. The sky's the limit on how people will build their houses. Aesthetically, you could make your house look like the shelter from Blue Lagoon but it would be completely fire-proof, comfortable in all seasons and all weather, etc. Or the Flintstone's House. Or spongebob's house. But structurally it would be made of ultra-strong nano-tech building material that's nearly indestructible. Instead of jet packs people would just ride on electric quad copters. Jetpacks imply jet engines which are too noisy and stinky for anyone to even want to fly with.
No, it’ll be just like reality. And I am very well positive It will be just like reality nothing more nothing less. Everything will Start fresh and repeat in the singularity and that the truth that will stick with me.
Are we able to enter a simulation with a given role (say a tough life) for the sake of learning tough lessons, but still be fully aware we're in a simulation? ie: is our learning drastically affected dependent on our awareness of it being simulated reality?
I was born a black male Jehovah's Witness in Baltimore, MD. My parents got divorced when I was 10. My mom raised all 5 kids without a spouse after that. We were poor as hell. Life was miserable for the first 20 years. It was incredibly hard to break free of that cult. I just graduated college 5 years ago and I'm 100K in debt. I'm 47 years old, still broke, and living in a basement while I save every dime I can and go to school for a masters in Information Systems. I just found out last week I have a blood clot in my leg, and I suspect I have another one in my neck. If I decided to play this game on hard mode I am a complete idiot!
Life after singularity. go to beach, bars every night, family bonding, play games everytime, travel to other planets etc. it looks like you have pension and no work. You have free time all the time. Go wherever you want.😂😂😂😂😂. Maybe that it full of fun
Maybe AI will eliminate poverty, maybe an intelligent blockchain technology will collect 98% of the profits from automation and distribute it to individuals equally, maybe the government will have only a tiny role.
A.I. will replace 80% of ALL jobs in the not too distant future. Our entire economic system will collapse unless the Government supplies a Universal Basic Income(U.B.I.).
The entire computation of our life is a screen saver. If it s a simulation we re just trying to get past our paradoxal developmental stages. very poorly .

If we could achieve this...we already would have. At the end of the day...mating inequality will always ensure some sort of merit hierarchy that will be monetized with winners getting the hottest women and losers dyeing alone with nobody noticing.
This guy Generates a very negative impression like he really feels he knows what he is talking about and in reality he didn't make tranformator or AI he just very opinionated about it in s very negative way. It is just me or it is anything valueble in this whole podcast besides skynet scenario and life it is a simulation. Nothing really original in my opinion 😂

That's awesome, congrats!
Good work! I intend on joining you in the next 12m. 🎉
Thank you for posting this. Too many people think getting up and working is "fulfilling" and that not having a job would lead to a loss of purpose.
If I’m creating this simulation I would like to know where the settings screen is. I Feel like I need to lower the difficulty and increase resource production.
did you try powering off and powering back on?
It's big lance off da yarddd
In other words, don’t be like Anakin / Vader on Revenge of the Sith! 🤔

You're an NPC, so don't worry about it.
YES! please do a video when you both prepare and go for yr next lip loft surgery! 🙌🙌

@macaulbole2286
I mean, to be fair, it wasn't an *_entirely_* flawed idea, lol.
_Maybe._ Idk, haven't seen the anime. 😮💨

Who says we're not already in that 'private universe '😮
Exactly

We are playing a game now
Once you understand that you play at the highest level.

Right
Sounds like we are building a world of maintenance workers instead of creators

If AI gives me the possibility to become a pensioner earlier, it's wonderful.
if we ever get there

he is burning his social security card
Computer-assisted solipsism? Interesting times, indeed. Be Cool.
You guys are as creative as a fart

Incorrect
the "video game" analogy is delusional and dangerous
Any analogy is dangerous if taken to an extreme. It’s meant to just be a fun way to play with sn idea.
how so?
This lady just hates video games. She doesn't play them, prolly never really has and thus her opinion is about as valuable as bar bathroom floor piss
What if were a form of ai? Like a 4D version of life manipulated 3d biology and made us?
What if you need to take a nap?
😅
yeah but this option sucks
I've gotta stop watching these videos stoned
