    This video series is one of the most important things in my life. No lie.
    I'm an old musician and it's a pleasure to hear these people talk truth and lessons. All of them are my heroes even the young ones.
    This series is a miracle and hope it continues forever.

    I don't want to belittle the things Ron did on all of those amazing Jazz records in any way, shape or form. That being said: The very first record that comes to my mind when i think of Mr. Ron Carter is Gil Scott Heron's “Pieces of a man”. I'm still trying to digest that record.

      I love that record and the Bassline of the title track is amazing. It's Soulful, haunting and beautiful.
