Dear DW, did you ever consider showing other German cities? There are much nicer places to live than Berlin.
Berlin is the capital of Germany, so ...
But yes, you're right about better places to live in : safer, cleaner, cheaper ...
no no berlin is the best of europe
What cities are better?
@@goldflo91Berlin isn’t really Germany anymore sorry
@@domenikvogel8775Berlin ist Schrott alles voll mit Müll keine Kultur und überall junky’s
Germany isnt even german anymore with these people in it
What? Why does that matter?
@@rickygillette7307 because If all of germany gets replaced by muslims. There wont be any germans left. Lmfao
@@rickygillette7307Because as the share of Germans in the population decreases, and non-Germans increase, it will irrevocably change the culture of the nation. Germany is for Germans. Europe is for Europeans. Not for Arabs and Africans who bring their ideals and cultures to impose on them. This is not a difficult concept to understand. You wouldn’t ever expect China to take in millions upon millions of Senegalese and then expect to cater to them. Why should we? If you disagree then just say you’re genocidal.
@@RildarI agree with your message, expecially the Europe for Europeans, other Europeans moving to Germany is more acceptable, but maybe just people who had bad experiences in their stay in Germany and now wish bad things on the bubašvabe (that last word is a joke don ' t get mad).
@@rickygillette7307Why does it matter? Because diversity is worth preserving. If the whole world is just brown, there is no diversity left. Why wouldn’t you care about the erasure of the ethnic Germans?
I miss Germany and want to move my family back there from Alabama. People in Kaiserslautern spoke english too but I'm not sure what the housing and job situation look like there.
Housing 👎 Jobs 👍
Its not a housing shortage if you look at it from the overpopulation perspective.
It's coused by the crazy uncontrolled mass migration.
It'll ruin our whole country.
There is an answer. Lebenshraum
Get rid of the Arabs, Turks, and Africans and you’ll notice you have way more space
exactly. They just don't have room for all those barbaric invaders. Maybe 5% if the migrants there should be allowed to stay.

Make Germany German again. We give you our home, our culture, our identity.. and what do we get? Selfishness, disrespect, and a passive cleansing of our own
What? Are you ok?
@@Melissa-hd3jr Well but that is what's happening. Many non german people start creating their own cultures and spread them in germany which in of it self isn't bad but they dont interact with the germans at all. So it is basically multiple different ideologies, habits, and overall mannerisms clashing against each other which in fact isn't fun at all.

I always thought German paperwork was the worst. Then I moved to France...
The US Army puts German to the languages, that are easy to learn.
And why do all people want to go to the big cities. There is always a shortage of flats.
There are so much smaller towns with affordable rents.
Germany is a wonderful country. I love Germany. Berlin is so awesome, people are very friendly and helpful, you just need to fet ysed to the differences. By the way, theres tons of cute guts in berlin...... 😅 Find your love in Berlin ❤
People in Berlin are very friendly? 😮😂
I only met unfriendly people in Berlin. But being from the Rhineland I‘m used to exchange a few words with cashiers etc.
Berlin isn't a friendly city 😂 we like to keep to ourselves mostly

You speak about Berlin. It's a bubble. That's not Germany at all. Especially cash only is in some restaurants cause they dont like t a x e s
Try Poland. Not even receptionists in hotels speak English or any other language except Polish.
Youre welcome in Denmark if u get tired of cash and mail
How does it work over there??
@@meetimian3383better than Germany in every aspect except the taxes. The taxes are higher in Denmark but also life there is much simpler and easier
Yes, it was already like that over ten years ago when I was a student at DTU. I miss København a lot!
I found your phrase about "Berlin maybe being an exception"
too much over exaggerated! Almost everyone in this country speaks good English. I would suggest you my American friend to buy a 49€ German Ticket and explore some other cities!
But regarding bureaucracy and housing shortage against high demand I'm absolutely with you!
Basically the country is not ready for accepting this much of expats in terms of process and infrastructure.
Glad you like Germany. Nearly everyone in Germany speaks english btw.
Come around Thuringen and I can show you a fair amount of people who don’t. Actually let’s be real anyone over 50 anywhere doesn’t speak English 😂
Wow. I'm going to be moving to Germany. Thank you for the anxiety.
England is the same way, it is very hard
Then leave
In my school class (Frankfurt) are more immigrants than germans.
But immigrants with german passport tend to wähl the afd here.
Most Germans in any large city speak English. I wanted to practice my German when I travel there but they all just speak English.
Cards are now fairly widely accepted. Don't expect it, but it is far more than 10 years ago.
The rules. So so so many rules and requirements and regulations
In 2023 Germans still prefer the postal service.
Amazing.😊
Germany's economy is great! Come here now, please!
Took me about 4 or 5 months to realize that
most European ppl from the different countries
communicate with each other by using English
Who tf would leave US for countries full of language barrier and so many issues

At this rate Italy will become a shining and high tech country compared to Germany. 🤔
@geranienbaum it happens. Rome is 2776 years old city.
It's hard to improve it. Almost every building there are historical. And certainly not fitted for modern technology.
That's why we are trying to develop technology from our own in order to make it match our needs.
It always requires time and patience.
@geranienbaum yes, but the critiques of people costs us more.
I don't know if you're Italian or just a foreigner living in Italy but at some point you should have seen some debates on tv here about corruption, misallocation of resources etc.
It always starts from the people critics, it passes through a solemn political move and allocation of money and it ends up in people that steal such things or use it in wrong ways.
Unfortunately that's a trait of the old generations of Italians from the second post-war period.
Which I too belong but, as you may presume, we're not all like that.
In short, it decuplicates the work of police, financial guards, politics etc, not to mention burocracy and so on.
Italy is a country that, every time it changes, it never changes.
Germany is good for technology. Not 4 tourism

Is it true that Germans still use fax?
Kind of. Fax is still used in certain work environments like healthcare (because some people think it’s safer than email which it’s not) and public offices still use it as well. Almost no one still uses it privately though
I was stationed in Germany for 3 years and lived off base on the economy. It was hard to get used to. It made me miss and appreciate America. Now I kind of miss it though.

I'm coming to visit Germany in November. Please share some tips.
As someone who lived in Germany, the biggest think you have to keep in mind when visiting is that everything closes on Sunday (except the bakery until like 12 oder 11) abd also when planing activities you really need to pay attention to opening times because sometimes those can be quite crazy like from 10 am till 1 pm or something so please keep this in ming :)
