The first time I watched this, I couldn't go pass 30sec of it bc this video was released after my grandmother's death. Several months later, I wanted to hear it and watch it, but everything in this video, from beginning to end really relates to me and made me feel too much pain. From when my grandmother was sick, yet smiling to missing all my mom's phone calls since I was away for my church's retreat. Just seeing her deteriorating so quickly, just like this video, it all happened so fast. Luke, you are heaven's sent, please and always make music. Its beautiful.
awwww sweetie. its always darker before the dawn. things get worse before they get better. think of the good times. Your comment made me cry.. Sweetheart,
Regina Cerezo Sweetie, your so brave watching this. My great grandma has passed but I don't think I can handle not seeing or hugging my grandma. im crying. feel better. things will get better I kno it.
Just reading the comments and I've noticed how many people have lost their grandma and I just want to say that you guys are all so brave for watching this video. I hope all of you live happily
My Grand-Father helped raise me. My dad left when I was three. My Grand-dad was my dad. He died when I was 18 years old. I cried through the song thinking of him. I miss him so much. With the brain damage my past is mostly lost to me. But with the video If, it just brought so many memeries of him back. Thank you so much.
And although this video isn't 'real', it sends out an important message. Which is to cherish every single moment with your loved ones before its to late.
I love this song, it reminds me of my gran. She died on the same day this was posted and I remember watching it. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of all of my grandparents who have all past away
I enjoy watching purely talented people enjoying what they love to do. Whether it be cooking, vlogging, dancing, singing, or anything else, the authenticity is what I enjoy. When it comes to someone beginning to someone filming themselves and posting it online, I think you start to develop a sense of higher confidence but it's also a time when you're most vulnerable and I think that's beautiful.
I love this song and your voice is great(: I usually don't comment on videos with a lot of views, because you are not going to read it anyways, but I just wanted to say that I love this song and it is sad, but also really inspirational to me (: I just think this song is perfect and I'm listening to this all day, so glad I discovered it (:
My grandmother passed away 2 years ago October 31st. My grandfather November 17th. This is a very tough time of year for my family. This song hit a really strong cord and made me cry quite a bit. It's a beautiful song. Makes me wish I could go back and fix all mistakes.
This song made me cry. Luke, you are so talented and really made me realize that you should enjoy what's happening now rather than regret it in the future.
My great grandma passed away in November and this song really made me think of her. This touched my heart and I cried really hard. I watched it at twelve thirty at night and I was crying like a baby without their mom. I love this song so much. It reminds me of the fun times I had with my Granny Thank you Luke
when i first found this..i didn't know what losing family felt like. i do...in a span of 7 months i lost three wonderful people in my life including my father...after years of not remembering the name and today i was looking for it..the same day my grandmother was admitted into the hospital..i found it and im so happy i found it.
This song really spoke to me, I lost my best friend since kindergarten to cancer exactly a year ago tomorrow on his birthday. I even cried a little remembering him, a beautiful song...
I really love this song I play it over and over again and each time a cry because I lost me grandma not to long ago and it reminds me of all the time I had with her and I miss her way to much but I'm glad for the time I had with her "love you grandma"
I enjoy seeing people open themselves up and just have fun and love what they do infront of the camera. Its hard to get comfortable infront of the camera sometimes but if you enjoy it, it will pass.
This made me cry. It touched me so much; especially because I wish I spent more time with my grandmother when she was in the hospital before she passed. This is seriously a really beautiful video and song.
Im watching this in 2015 and It's crazy how fast time goes. My nan passed November 6th 2013 and I accidentally found this video right after. When I used to watch it I'd cry but now although the pain is still there this video makes me smile and remember all the good memories. The video may not be real but it is touching and means a lot to me♡♡
Luke, this was so beautiful and touching and all your songs are amazing but I was crying in this song (I know I'm weird) and I just wanted to say that you are an inspiration to every single one of your viewers and we love you so much xxxx
My 5 Month Son and i spend Lots of time searching for music to soothe his fussy moods. As a Blogger starting a vlog, there are so many things to over come, making time with a young family, trying to find topics that are interesting to others, not just you... And trying to get your 'name' out there so people can enjoy what you do.
Everytime I watch this I cry cause I just lost my great grandma we WERNT close at all but that doesn't mean I can't miss her all I wanna do is see her again and just spend more time with her and give her a hug just one more time
Personally the greatest challenge a vlogger would have to overcome is themselves. I've been in front of a camera before, but vlogging is literally putting your heart and soul out there for everyone to see.
I cried when I watched this because i just lost my Grandma. I'm so sorry for anyone who has a sick family member or friend. I love you Grandma. I hope you have a nice time in heaven, and please know that everyone thought you were a wonderful person and misses you. I love you Grandma. Bye
This reminded me of what I went through with my grandma! One day she's fine the next she's gone! She died of cancer when I was 9. Once I saw the I love grandma picture frame that's when I lost it! I've watched this over and over your such a great artist keep it up! :)
Im crying right now. GREAT JOB LUKE!! I love music, beauty and vlog. I especially like vlogs because I like seeing what people do in their everyday life. I give vloggers a thumbs up for not being shy to show people their life and also for having the guts to vlog in public.
To be a vlogger there's the struggle of first gaining an audience, but once the numbers eventually add up, there's the mixture between people who like you for you or the ones that depict every flaw the vlogger has as if they themselves didn't have any. What's the best part is overcoming that and focusing on the crazy fact that there can be people who Love and support you all through a computer screen.
I love watching vlogs and seeing the world around me and how I'm not alone. Whenever I am having a bad day or I'm upset or just not with it, I can just watch any vlog, from CFTxC to Luke's Vlogmas and the VlogBrothers because RUclips constantly reminds me that the world is so big and no matter what I am never alone. When I started vlogging, my biggest hurdle was confidence. I wasn't very confident and I was awkward on camera. I was able to get past that with practice and great support from others!
I like to watch anything that you can't find on regular tv. I like to be happy watching the funny channels but also listen to new music and just watch to have fun. What I think a vlogger has to overcome is sharing their life with the internet and putting themselves out there. Vloggers are amazing for taking time to record a piece of their life and have an audience watch them.
This reminded me of grandpa that passed away last year on Christmas eve. After he passed I wished that I would have spent more time with him. And I feel so bad that I wasn't there to say good bye.
I love watching videos where people share life stories and advice because a bunch of other people can relate to it and it makes everyone feel more connected. I think one of the biggest obstacles a new vlogger would have to face is dealing with negative criticism and haters and learning to remain true to themselves despite the opinions of others.
I like to watch a lot of travelling videos. Seeing different cultures and how they live is very inspiring to me. It teaches me that we can live a different life if we want to.
Love this, so touching. Made me cry and think about everything I felt and went through when my Grandmother passed from cancer 4 months ago. Keep making videos and singing Luke, you're amazing! :)
whenever im on youtube , i love watching some comedy , makeup , and vlog videos. one of the hurdles that a new vlogger usually goes through is probably how their friends would react to it and if they're fine with some hate.
i love watching so many vloggers be genuinely friends! i would give anything to be a part of that youtube community! and i think vloggers have to decide how much they want to share with the world and how to balance vulnerability and their privacy! id love to win this camera so i could have the first step towards becoming a vlogger myself!
I like watching music videos, collabs, and vlogs! A new vlogger would have to get over the feeling of holding a video camera in their face while they're walking down a street, that can't be embarrassed to do what they love or have a passion for.
I like watching music videos and vlogs the most. I love feeling like I know people and have friends even if I've never actually met them. The biggest hurdle I think is just kinda letting people see you for who you are, and thinking of what to say without making it sound fake.
Content that I personally love to watch is things that relate to me. I especially love anything that deals with music. But one thing I think I struggle with is finding what to talk about. I usually have it all in my head then get camera shy. But I still like to talk.
This was so great it really brought me back to when my uncle passed away last year. I really enjoy blogs that kind of show you how to do DIY stuff yourself for cheap and I'm hoping I can contribute to that as I'm crafty and like to make things! Any advice I would give is that forget the haters, your an amazing person to put yourself out there and be vulnerable and they aren't so really you're the strong one! Keep doing what you do Luke and we hope to see more if you!
I didn't listen to music these days, there were things happening and was kinda busy so on so forth. But when I heard this song, I suddenly had a feeling that I have a place to come back and enjoy. Thanks for this amazing video!
I never really met my grandparents from both my mom and my dad's side because they passed away when I was a baby and I don't remember because I was young. This song is very touching.
this video hit me in the face last year we sat with my aunt until she slipped from this life into the next no one will ever know how hard it is to see one of the most important women in your life slip away and there is nothing you can do about it.
I gotta say that music and webseries are mostly what I enjoy. I do still follow everyone from echo-base and the extended gourp, as well as a few lets plays by a few others, but it is still mostly music i come to RUclips for.
While the song was awesome...the video struck a cord. On the 4th of May last year I lost my sister to cancer. Not that I needed a reminder - you'll never know how much the song and video meant thank you very much.
I can relate alote to these beautiful and amazing song when I lost my uncle y didn't know what I will do in that moment because he was like a grandfather to me i really miss him alote... But we got to fight on and stay strong even when it hurts (peace) rest in peace uncle u will be missed .
My favorite things to watch are music videos on blogs. New vloggers have to get over the awkward factor of talking to camera when no one else is around or in public. Also, they have to decide what to vlog and what will be interesting for the viewers.
I love watching vlogs of all the youtubers hanging out with each other. I love the whole youtube community. It's amazing that a good-hearted group of everyday people can just hang out, have fun, do what they love and enjoy being where ever life takes them. It's really inspiring. Good luck with your music. I really like it.
This reminds me of when my grandma died :( such a beautiful song and video! The type of videos I usually watch are vlogs, comedy, and music videos and I think the hurdles that new vloggers face include not being comfortable talking in front of a camera and maybe some self esteem issues.
this song is soo emotional..wow..i just cried and related this song..your awesome luke :D..i wish people around the world know you more not only in youtube
I love the music covers that people give their own twist to, and the hardest thing for a new vlogger to overcome would be the fear that no one likes their videos.
This is honestly such an amazing song and video, I cried just remembering when my great grandpa passed away three years ago. You have a great voice and write great songs, keep it up! And I personally love a bit of everything. I like prank videos, tutorials, vlogs, music. The list is endless!
I like watching makeup tutorials and some hurdles a new vlogger would have to overcome is getting used to hate, and to be comfortable with themselves! I love you and your videos!
I like watching beauty videos. This made me think of my dad he passed away December 12,2012. I miss him more than you know he was the best. New vloggers right now just overcoming the competition is hard.
I love love love finding unique musicians on youtube to watch but I also enjoy daily vlogs when the people in them have great personalities which is what I would love to do next year when I go to Australia for two months before starting university. However being a new vlogger a definite hurdle for me will probably be technology but by having this camera I think I would definitely have a little easier job because many reviews I have read have said they are easy to use with great quality!
That video was touching and made me think of my grandpa that just passed on July 30, 2013 cause I remember being with him in his retirement home! Love the video Luke :)
This is such a great video, I remember last year when I lost my grandmother and I had the hardest tine getting over it. Its hard and this just brought memories. I think people are scared of what society thinks when there talking to a camera. Yes people may not understand, but you need confidence and just the strength to push through stuff and not cate what society may think about it.
The first time I watched this, I couldn't go pass 30sec of it bc this video was released after my grandmother's death. Several months later, I wanted to hear it and watch it, but everything in this video, from beginning to end really relates to me and made me feel too much pain. I have the same story as u do
Just reading the comments and I've noticed how many people have lost their grandma and I just want to say that you guys are all so brave for watching this video. I hope all of you live happily
That's so nice of you to say and I hope you don't loose anyone you truly love

You mister always make me cry with your new songs! But they're beautiful Luke. Congrats!
I love this song, it reminds me of my gran. She died on the same day this was posted and I remember watching it. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of all of my grandparents who have all past away

This song really hit home and i absolutely adore it
Made me cry, made me think of my grandmother, thats why this is my favorite song.
This made me cry. It touched me so much; especially because I wish I spent more time with my grandmother when she was in the hospital before she passed. This is seriously a really beautiful video and song.
I think I just shed a tear. I love this video..very heartwarming. And luke, you are so talented.

Oh my gosh this song really spoke to me, i sadly lost my uncle to cancer on sunday, and this describes how i feel, thank you

I connect with this video a lot. I recently lost my only best friend to cancer and my first dog to old age. I love this.
It takes alot to make me cry. This was alot to take in. Just remember that word "if" is a choice we all make.
Everytime I watch this I cry cause I just lost my great grandma we WERNT close at all but that doesn't mean I can't miss her all I wanna do is see her again and just spend more time with her and give her a hug just one more time

This song really is touching. I Heard This Song After My Grandma past. Thanks luke really helped me out
One question though... Is this for your grandmother... If so... It took my heart away and I cried. My heart stopped for a few seconds.
This was really quite amazing. I'm crying right now. I love it when music videos tell a story.
This made me cry :[ I recently lost my grandma and she was my world. This song is beautiful Luke, great job :]
I love wathing your and Landon's tour vlogs where you turn around and the crazy amount of people start screaming. It makes me smile every time :)
I like to watch anything that you can't find on regular tv. I like to be happy watching the funny channels but also listen to new music and just watch to have fun. I love to watch anything inspirational and music videos. RUclips helps shy people to over come that and to be more creative.

i started crying just when you showed the grandma because i recently lost my grandma and i love this video sooo much
I like to watch a lot of travelling videos.
i needed this, it gives you a slap of reality. that every one will die and you need to spend as much time with them as possibal
whenever im on youtube , i love watching some comedy , makeup , and vlog videos. one of the hurdles that a new vlogger usually goes through is probably how their friends would react to it and if they're fine with some hate.
Luke you have me in tears right now. That was so touching. Beautifully done!
the fear of rejection and hate that are out there on the interwebs would be something that a new vlogger may face
Thanks for the tears Luke. I have always loved this song and you just gave me another reason to do so
i love watching so many vloggers be genuinely friends! i would give anything to be a part of that youtube community!
and i think vloggers have to decide how much they want to share with the world and how to balance vulnerability and their privacy!

I really need to stop watching this... I cry every time.
I love vlogs !!! Can believe how hard it can be when people are looking at you while you're talking lol
I really like humorous vloggers. As someone who has tried vlogging, the hardest part for me was always coming off naturally on camera.
I like watching music videos and vlogs the most. I love feeling like I know people and have friends even if I've never actually met them. The biggest hurdle I think is just kinda letting people see you for who you are, and thinking of what to say without making it sound fake.

This video hit me hard. I'm super close to my grandfather and I thought of him during this video and what it'll be like without him in my life.
Very touching song. The lyrics are really relatable. Beautiful !!
I like watching videos of people going out of their way to help complete strangers.
I think I like blogs the most because they tell someone so much about what they've been through and just their life. I want to enter for the contest.
I didn't listen to music these days, there were things happening and was kinda busy so on so forth. But when I heard this song, I suddenly had a feeling that I have a place to come back and enjoy. Thanks for this amazing video!
This was such a touching song and I made me feel that you use all the time you have with a loved one. I loved the music video to
I never really met my grandparents from both my mom and my dad's side because they passed away when I was a baby and I don't remember because I was young. This song is very touching.
I love your voice! It has that professional tone to it like what you'd hear on the radio omg
I love VLOGS and music!!! I wish I was able to just be like that where he is able to be confident and proud on camera
this video hit me in the face last year we sat with my aunt until she slipped from this life into the next no one will ever know how hard it is to see one of the most important women in your life slip away and there is nothing you can do about it.

I love this song, it sounds so beautiful, I can't even describe the feeling I got when I heard it the first time.. Don't ever stop making music!
i legit cried watching this. beautiful luke!!
I like watching beauty videos. This made me think of my dad he passed away December 12,2012. I miss him more than you know he was the best. New vloggers right now just overcoming the competition is hard.
