I'm glad some of the cuttings survived! I hope I can get a Cashew from you, mine all got too cold in fall and died. I can't believe how well your Ficus has grown, it's looking like a tree!
Wow...Reviewed and liked all your 117 videos...Your progress has been amazing and I really enjoy your work...Keep them coming J and thanks for sharing...
Thanks Tyler, I'm glad you liked them. I plan on making videos again sometime and you'll recognize most of the tree's. Have fun growing your trees and I wish you luck with your cuttings.
I like the trunk movement on this one. That lower branch looks better this way. It would be nice if you could cut that back branch and glue it back in another position, just kidding 😁
Awesome video jay your lucky to have some of those Nigel cuttings hopefully they will become awesome bonsai one day! Thanks for making these videos gives me inspiration for my channel that I just started !!
Green Island Ficus is a new species for me - really nice bends and form. The leaves remind me of a miniature Indian rubber tree. Looks like you're getting some great character in the bark already. How old is this tree?
yup .. green island ficus so beautiful bonsai material .. thanks for sharing ...

Oh that's too bad, I will forsure bring some over. I still have to get that one other Kapok tree over to you too.
@@BonsaiJCan Thanks J, it seems to be a tradition, me always taking a plant or two back!!! I really appreciate it!
No problem, the least I can do. Other than a couple lost trees I think it's a cool tradition . 😀 Looking forward to another visit !
Nice little pruning tutorial. Great explanation as to why you pruned what you did. Ficus is looking good.
Thanks Tom

I like your decision on that lower branch. The structure is much improved. Nice work. Thanks, keep growing
Thanks Matt, it's been on my mind to prune it off for a while.
They are all very good when inside the house, nice sharing!!
Thanks Cherie, yes for the most part I enjoy having them inside to work on and don't have to worry about the wether effecting them.
If I lived closer to Nigel I would collect his cuttings every day. 🤣 You can start a nursery just from his cuttings. 🤪
😄 Yes that's true ! I wish I had more room and time. 😏 It would actually be great if we were all neighbors! 😀👍
Great work! Just found your channel :) loooove Ficus

Nice tree. Would love to see an update on it. Was it your tree that was filmed in Nigel saunders video about the bonsai club last week?
