Nickel would not have gotten a hole in this timeline. The only reason he did in the original BFDIA is that he tried to take the shrink ray from Fries. This led to a hole getting punched in his body. This would mean that Nickel wouldn’t have his chunk as a trinket, but more interestingly, it’d mean that he doesn’t have an incentive to help TB in 17. He could probably lose BFDIA 16 and win 17 because he’s already his truest self.
Also, Fries probably wouldn’t try to do anything in BFDIA 17, since he’s already immune and doesn’t have any teammates. He’d probably just go “Revive me when this is over.” and then crush himself with the big block.

Note that BFDIA 18's elimination would be a lot less close than in canon. Needle is just there by happenstance.
