I really love how you passed on pieces that weren’t good quality! It’s so important to not fall victim of buying just to buy because you are thrifting. Great role model you are! Bin so obsessed with the cropped quilted jacket! How amazing and the orange accordian skirt! I would’ve bought those for myself too!❤️

In French, I'm pretty sure we name these collars "col pelle à tarte", which means that they have the shape of cake knives. Do they have a specific name in English?

I had one of those 'quick thrift' stops today - found a brand new from Nordy's light blue Vince Camuto leather jacket originally priced at $199. Very soft and lovely fit. I got for $50. A bit high I think but it was so lovely. I justify that I can always sell it but who am I kidding! LOL Beth would you do a video on your statement earring collection and how it inspires you to put outfits together? I need to break out of my studs rut!

I love a good thrift store treasure hunt.
I went to the Salvation Army today and found a pair of cream silk pleated high waisted pants from Lord & Taylor and a knit skirt in a black and gray tweed from Halogen and paid half price for both pieces which came to a whopping $5.31.😍

LOVE the snakeskin top with the floral skirt. Looks like they were made to go together! Just marvelous...and the quilted jacket with yellow top and orange skirt is DIVINE, together. Hope you get it and just leave the buttons off. That outfit is amazing!!!
On amazon you can actually get a belt hole puncher so you can make new holes in belts that are too loose. That way you never have to pass up a fabulous vintage belt!

I feel like maybe those buttons were removed in the store. So sad when people do that. I look on eBay for buttons when I find something that is worth it, so who knows maybe I'm supporting the stolen thrift store button market? LOVE you btw..~D
That blouse with the pointy collar is so cute 😍 I love unique collars! I recently thrifted a burnt orange blouse with puff sleeves and a pointy collar - vintage is just the best!

I was so sad when you put that quilted jacket back. It looked adorable on you. I liked everything else that you bought.
If you haven't made a similar video already, I'd love to see a future video about how you take inventory of your closet and get rid of clothes you no longer want in your wardrobe. I know you can't keep thrifting new items without sifting through some of your old items occasionally!

Also like your commentary about how you're deciding whether or not you'll take a piece home with you. I always ask myself:
a. Do I LOVE it?
b. Realistically, am I REALLY going to wear it?
c. Do I already have something similar in my closet?

I absolutely loved the orange skirt with the yellow tank top! And that plaid blouse...yessss! It's so easy to buy loads of things that are fun at the moment, but that end up hanging in the closet for "just the right moment" rather than being a "go-to" or real statement item, so it's great to be more selective about what you actually take home. I went thrifting yesterday, and found the perfect plaid blazer (much like the one you wore in How to Get Out of a Style Rut that I LOVED) and a pair of Kate Spade readers. Good enough. (For now...) ♥

I don't find pieces like what you find at the thrift store; I do score some cool things but not similar things to what you discover! The quilted jacket, plaid button down shirt, scoopneck printed long sleeved sweater looked awesome on you!
I love how your style has evolved since I found you. love your videos, always a great inspiration. I am very happy to say that I have found my style, very minimal, simple lines, black pants, white manly shirts. I love love love thrifting, finding new pieces and playing dress-up.

The accordion pleated skirt is terrific. I think you should have kept the quilted jacket. A seamstress would not charge much to put black buttons on it. The snake skin blouse is a great find.

The ORANGE SKIRT!!! Oh, Beth, it might be one of the BEST things I have seen you thrift in the year and a half I have been watching your channel. You have an eye for the amazing pieces most would pass on without evening batting an eye. I also love, love, love the snake print blouse. Could those sleeves be any better? I think not! I might be out of my mind but could it be possible to wear the orange skirt with the blouse and the perfect brown boot? Trying to channel my inner Beth but I probably totally missed the mark! Hahaha!

I loved this "quick thrift" video. You picked up some wonderful things but curated them very well (you have such a good eye!). I'm sure we'll see some of these things in future videos. The only thing I thought you should have gotten was the multi-color short jacket. Even without the buttons it was wonderful on you!
