I legitimately cried when he threw the final strike. I was sobbing 😭 when the umpire called strike three. The Texas Rangers made me and some fellow fans feel much better by winning the World Series.
After the heartbreak in 2011, I will forever be grateful for the 2023 Texas Rangers. Thank you for allowing me to finally escape that pain that had been haunting me for over a decade. Now let's go get another one!
Back in September 2021, I visited Chase Field to watch the Rangers play the Diamondbacks. Both teams were on their way to 100-loss seasons. I managed to see Josh Sborz throwing in the visiting bullpen before the game and got him to sign my UVA baseball. (Wahoo-wa). Never did I imagine that Sborz would be the one nailing down the World Series title in Chase Field two years later. What a magical season.
I CRIED LIKE A BABY JUMPING UP AND DOWN UNTIL I ALMOST PASSED OUT ...A MOMENT I WILL NEVER FORGET ..THANK YOU RANGERS FOR MAKING US THE HAPPIEST FANS EVER
I cried for many minutes after the 3rd out. I was exhausted from the catharsis in the top of the 9th, so the bottom of the inning was a weird spot for me as a lifetime Ranger fan. I've seen some colossal comebacks but at 5-0 there was some real downhill momentum to the game. It didn't feel real then and still doesn't now. I've had many nightmares about it slipping through my fingers again. With the crowd having been kind of whipped into submission, the umpire's call was pretty loud as the tears were already streaming by then. For me it wasn't just this one game. It was 37 years of fandom culminating in one moment. I cried for all of it.
Just watched this and as always Nadel's call is greatness. And then I thought about Mark Holtz and thought about this call "strike three, Hello World Series column.
Truly magically, part of it still feels unreal. But to be there to see this team go and take it in person with my dad will always hold a wonderful special place with me.
It was great meeting Sborz twice during the Winter Caravan Tour and asking him, "What was it like to do something that no other Rangers pitcher has done before?"
@@guitarheromorello ah, spoken like a true champion! I heard that he thought his last strike wasn’t particularly that good, but I guess you gotta be humble if you want to find success.

Me too, friend, I think a lot of us did.
Oh man I cried like a baby. My dad and sister called me crying too. I’ll never forget that night
I think most of us did. It's 13 years of that scar ripped away. And now, it's time to run it back.
I was at Texas Live, and when the ump called strike 3, the tears were streaming down my face for sure.

exactly ive been a fan since i was 6 years old and ive had that pain most of my adult life too
Same, I thought after they blew it in 2011 they might not get another chance.
Legendary call by Eric Nadel
I love Eric Nadel's call when they finally won it all
Rangers fans you are not dreaming!!!!! :D
Why?
@@pornsakpongthong1092 Because of all we Texas Rangers fans have been through. It was truly a special moment.

Loser
I cried all over again. Thank you.
Best out of the series
I was crying when he threw the last pitch after that 2011 loss to the cardinals where we should’ve won I started crying and we accomplished it!
out of all the rewind videos, this is definitely my favorite
I was a t shirt with Sborz spiking his glove with the Nadel quote “Rangers fans, you’re not dreaming”

I love the Rangers 💪🏼
Excellent video.
Awesome!

What was his response?
@@Marwarluigi To summarize it, I think he was excited and was just doing his best to throw a strike.

Normally, watching Rangers’ World Series win highlights makes me really happy. But not today. I have a memorial service to go to this morning.
You just had to ruin the fun for everyone, didnt you?
Still happy
god bless josh sborz
Josh Sborz is my hero
Other than the Simien home run. Sborz making his final stand was my favorite moment
Who else cried when they finished it off? I know I did
Meanwhile, Montgomery just signed a 1 year/$25 million deal with Arizona.
Wow… why? Dude was getting 100,000,000 offers

Nobody cared when whomever won the baseball game.
You obviously cared. Otherwise, you wouldn't have taken the time to comment on the video.
