Thank you guys for your support!
I’ve been working nights shifts for over 5 years now. It’s a wonderful shift because there’s less people at work. You get all day to run errands, you don’t have to come back out since at the time you’re coming home everything is opening up. Gyms are less packed in the morning. Movie tickets are cheaper in the morning. Less people in the theaters. Traffic is a little better both ways coming and going. It takes time to adjust to a sleep routine. Like any regular shift it’s not for everyone though.
Hey jamie!! Im a last year medical studen, had a night shift yesterday, nice to see that video now 🥺❤ I watch your videos since when I was in high school!
Aww thank you for watching! Get some rest!
I don't think I could do night shifts permanently, but at times it does give the feel of having an extra day off which I appreciate having 2 kids. I can run errands the day before, and maybe the morning after, as long as it's not a Monday or over the weekend, the shift itself often isn't too hectic.
So happy you and your family made a nice transition to the Bay Area. The Peninsula is a nice area, born and raised now living in Santa Rosa. Best of luck!
Thank you!
Love when you post so glad your posting more ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!!
I started watching your channel while you were in medschool :) So glad to see you happy and thriving! I was wondering where your kitty is?
How I mean how do you get so much done… I’m exhausted just watching you
Hi Jamie - love your bag - care to share? Have been watching you for years and so love all your vids. You continue to inspire!
If you mean the black woven tote, it’s from a brand called Milaner!
If it wpuld be a night shift which laated for 12 hours its ok. But in my country we have 24 hours shift- it means that you should work during the dau and night. So the dau after the shift is crossed from the life, because all day you are sleeping. It is very hard.
which country is this may I ask ?
@@sakura142 it's in Europe :)
Love you videos❤
Would you please make a video on Living cost in SF, how much should a family be making approximately to be living there? Day care cost? Things keep in mind before moving there?
I’m planning to move as well
Does anybody know if she still has the little white cat she had in NY? Just curious.
I need to see Past Lives as well ❤ - and Oppenheimer
Thanks for sharing your day. Was wondering where your desk is from, am looking for a good sit stand desk.
My desk is from Fully. Called Jarvis standing desk!
also omg benji is sooOooOooo cute 🥹
Since we are on the topic of movies What do you think of Barbenheimer? On a side note in an alternate reality I really do see you as a cafe vlogger I mean all those countless cafes you have taken us to over the years. You should really do a cafe montage☕.
Both movies are def on my list to watch!! & yes! I love finding and visiting cool cafes 😄
Wow Jaime, I didn’t know you came to America when you were 12. Very interesting. Bendy is soo cute.
Hey, could you share your experience with childcare/parenting?
I am particularly interested to know how do u deal with daycare sicknesses, what alternate childcare services you use if there is a sudden change of plan and so on
Thankfully after the initial winter surge the daycare sickness part has gotten much much better. But yea, those unexpected childcare plan changes are really tough. My husband works from home and usually able to help but I’ve postponed meetings and stuff as well
i miss study with me videos , do work with me myby :D
Dad didn’t sound convinced that 150 bucks is worth it for a movie theater date 😂
Getting a night off really is invaluable
😂 it’s rough out here
when u finish ur notes at home, are u paid for that?
Mmm not in addition to our normal compensation. Some people are very efficient and get it done during their shift and some places have a built in 1 hr documentation time in addition to their clinical shift (for example 9 hour shift but you only see patients for the first 8)
I love the channel and her, but she is lying with the video title y’all. Don’t do it! Lol
😂😅
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Actually I have a question u can do both MD +MBA both in one time?
You can! There are MD/MBA programs available. Some people also do it during residency or post residency like me!
@TheStriveToFit 😬
