- World record obtained (AGAIN!) Last week its been passing through many hands, but after this 17:32 I think I'll (hopefully) be holding it for awhile. I do think sub 16 is possible, but it'd have to include all the reinforcement skips as well as god RNG with invos and spawns. I use NE pillar to get the perfect Venator Bow setups 1-6, then I go back south and melee camp with Scythe afterwards. Venator Bow maxes a 91 in this setup (with ring), which outdps' Scythe. I use the Moonlight Meat to help me on 6 early. Dragon Warhammer is 7s each time save, and better than double clawing the boss. I use claws to nuke the Serpent Mage for skips. I tried Bulwark and the line of sight issues still need to be fleshed out a lot more before it beats out just clawing targets.
This is NOT what I would do on a first cape and nothing in this video reflects that. This is for pure speed and no safety. NE Pillar is by far the worst pillar safety wise to start from. I prefer SW pillar starts otherwise.

Stick with it. Some offticks/flicks are tough to learn but you'll get them. Don't be afraid to rotate pillars and brew on shit stacks

Do the rangers always sync with the manticores range attack?
Only if they see you on the same tick. If the manticore is mage first and its behind the ranger, you go from the middle of the pillar and move out south or west and manticore will hit you first tick with mage, 2nd tick with range and the ranger also hits you on the 2nd tick.
If the Manticore is mage and at the front, with a ranger behind it. You do the same middle of the pillar tech, but you pray range (1st ranger hit), mage, range, melee for the manticore. There attacks won't be synced but the ranger will only attack you on safe ticks from the manticore.

Maybe you could do a small video on melee only setups. Any tips/advice you have for what NPC's to target, when to spec, off ticks, dragging NPC's into pillars off bad spawns etc. I just completed my first quiver using shadow. Was consistently getting to wave 11/boss. But now trying to do melee only setups I can barely get past wave 6-8 again
