if you're not an iron and couldn't get it down in a few tries, you probably needed the rotations to the side. the dps of a trident and blowpipe with void is fine
@@digiac4027 efficient in terms of time definitely - there wouldn't be a method slower than this. This is efficient in terms of supplies. This guide isn't aimed at efficiency, it's for people getting their first KC.
@@ShaunyMateOSRS it's better to learn it the proper way immediately, there's no point in killing zulrah without actually learning how to switch and eat in a short period of downtime before he rises up again, it's like a pvm ladder where you're avoiding to take a step up It's better to die a few extra times and learn the proper way than sticking with an inefficient method, not learning anything and just getting slow kills overall Supplywise I'd say it isn't even that much of a difference, you still get damaged by snakelings, waste a lot of prayer points and you for some reason brought antipoisons instead of anti-venom+'s (I assume to slow down your kills to show off better how your method works, same as bringing fire surge)

This is the best beginner guide by far, every other one I've watched it needlessly complicated and confusing for someone just trying to learn the basics and get first kill. I've managed to get this particular rotation down pretty well after a few attempts, but only getting the damn snek to half health and then a new rotation starts and I dont know where to stand or what's coming next or when another jad phase is coming so I end up fucking up and/or running out of food and having to leave it dying (I have 89 mage, trident of the seas, book of darkness, mystic robes, barrows gloves, farseer helm - dont know why I'm doing so little damage). Guess I'll have to keep trying tomorrow, thanks so much for this guide though man it was very well explained and presented and concise
Glad it could help out! What spell are you using? If you aren't getting enough damage in to get a kill in one rotation look at upgrading your gear/spell!
@@ShaunyMateOSRS trident of the seas, which has a max hit of 24 for me. Next time I try I'll use fire wave with the tome for a max hit of 30 and see if that helps get it killed in one rotation
Yo it's all good man I went back with fire wave and tome and died again twice, but then I tried it out with void gear instead of mystic robes and did a lot more damage with that setup and managed to get the kill a few phases into the second rotation. @@ShaunyMateOSRS well I'm an ironman so gear upgrades aren't so easy to come by haha, but hey I've got elite void now and working on DS2 for the better Ava's device, so next step after that is to go back to zulrah and get good at the range switches and get the other rotations down so I can eventually get a blowpipe on this account

By far the most explanatory guide on this specific method on all of youtube, even after nearly 4 years. I'm a super PvM noob and after watching the video and memorizing + tile marking everything, I am now able to get consistent mage-only kills in my budget ironman setup with worse gear and stats than you. used this guide as i was doing the fight. used the arrow keys to keep the video ahead of my kill and it worked a treat. ended up doing 1 and a half rotations but jumped into the safespots mentioned and kept my cool :) Thanks a bunch Shauny!

bro 10/10 guide. i died twice to zulrah without this guide. the range switches and not knowing the rotations got me killed. but after watching this guide i did it first attempt and didnt even get damaged once (apart from the small snakes). it was very easy to memorize and no range switch meant it was very simple. however i did it with trident of the swamp, serpentine helm, ring of suffering(i) and book of the dead+runepouch for thralls, was able to bring more food as i had more inv space, but it wasnt necessary at all, might be for others tho.
Just did my first kill thanks to you 5 mins ago !! Best guide out there, just memorize the rotation, keep trying until you master it and when you reach the next rotation you should have plenty of food left, play extra safe and do as much damage as possible

This was my first real attempt at PVM and mainly for the Hard western diary lol. All the other guides were good but didn't have specifically how to just get one kill, what rotation, and where to go for each phase. You didn't cut any parts out and paused where we needed to be for each phase. I thank you for your service sir.

THIS IS THE BEST GUIDE. hands down. I've seen em all. I understood the concept but at lvl 100 w 80 hit-points I just kept running out of food doing ranged/mage. But w your help, mage only was a piece of cake!! Many thanks

Oh boy. I needed one zulrah kill for the diary and I'm not much of a pvmer so looking at all these videos and rotational guides really frazzled my brain, I just couldn't grasp all the possible things at once. I found this one and it was SO much simpler to understand than anything I ever watched that I managed the kill it on my first attempt with about the same setup(used serp helm, trident, mystic boots, and imbued mage cape instead) and 87 mage. 3:07 kill time as well! For someone who has insane anxiety and doesn't have much experience with bossing, this guide was VERY helpful. I was panicking, but that's just my anxiety talking lol. Tysm dude, I was worried I'd never get elite void!
amazingly simple guide. Got me my first kill. I was shaking the whole time but it was actually pretty easy thanks to this guide. I got lucky and got the right rotation back to back so was able to kill it it. THANK YOU
Best guide for the first kill. Wasn't fast enough to kill in first rotation even with tome of fire and surge, was missing some dps by not attacking fast enough. But got lucky on the second rotation. Thanks man
This is an amazing step by step guide. I have watch alot of others trying to learn how to kill zulrah. They never fully clicked for me and I found my self getting really frustrated trying to juggle prayers and positioning. I did a bunch of Zulrah on my main years ago but I was really struggling for the diary on my iron without antivenoms and this strategy got me the kill much easier. Thanks :)
I know this is probably a bit outdated, but this guide actually helped me to get my first kill on that thing. Thank you for making it easily understandable for noobs! Bruh the hardest part of zulrah for me was not getting one of the two melee rotations OVER AND OVER AND OVER again to the point where I just was down to learn any pattern and so far that's been working for me

This guide is so legit. Vorkath was easy enough, but I struggled with Zulrah for so long. Took a couple year break. Came back. After a week of getting back into it, wanted to give money snek a rip again for elite void. Saw this and got my first two KC first two tries. Definitely the easiest way to get your first kill.

Thank you for the guide! I got my needed KC for diaries. I had no problems grinding Vorkath kills but for some reason Zulrah was a thorn in my side. This video really helped me figure out what I needed for the kill.
I struggled for so long with Zulrah, tried other guides and felt completely lost. After watching this video I managed to kill him first try! Amazing. I would also highly recommend using runelite and labling the tiles 1-11 before the fight. That way you can see on screen exactly where to run in each phase.

Looked at like 4 guides before I realized gear switch wasn't for me. Your guide did it. 81 magic and same gear as you but used trident of the swamp and mage book. One thing I did - bring a crystal bow for that tanzanite part right after jad part. besides that i did all mage. phew still shaking, glad to be done with this for now. definitely feel confident learning this boss in the (far) future and kicking its ass.

I recommend bringing msb imbued for last mage phase. You can spec him twice when hes not attacking. Really speeds up kills.

I needed one zulrah kill for the diary and I'm not much of a pvmer so looking at all these videos and rotational guides really frazzled my brain, I just couldn't grasp all the possible things at once. I found this one and it was SO much simpler to understand than anything I ever watched that I managed the kill it on my first attempt with about the same setup(used serp helm, trident, mystic boots, and imbued mage cape instead) and 87 mage. 3:07 kill time as well!
For someone who has insane anxiety and doesn't have much experience with bossing, this guide was VERY helpful. I was panicking, but that's just my anxiety talking lol. Tysm dude, I was worried I'd never get elite void!
amazingly simple guide. Got me my first kill. I was shaking the whole time but it was actually pretty easy thanks to this guide. I got lucky and got the right rotation back to back so was able to kill it it. THANK YOU

Best guide for the first kill. Wasn't fast enough to kill in first rotation even with tome of fire and surge, was missing some dps by not attacking fast enough. But got lucky on the second rotation. Thanks man

This is an amazing step by step guide. I have watch alot of others trying to learn how to kill zulrah. They never fully clicked for me and I found my self getting really frustrated trying to juggle prayers and positioning.

I did a bunch of Zulrah on my main years ago but I was really struggling for the diary on my iron without antivenoms and this strategy got me the kill much easier. Thanks :)

Bruh the hardest part of zulrah for me was not getting one of the two melee rotations OVER AND OVER AND OVER again to the point where I just was down to learn any pattern and so far that's been working for me
This got me my first kill for the hard diary.. I watched many guides on Zulrah but non came much simpler than this guide … I even kill her often now using this strategy …Plus I play on mobile … thank you shauny 👊🏻

This guide is so legit. Vorkath was easy enough, but I struggled with Zulrah for so long. Took a couple year break. Came back. After a week of getting back into it, wanted to give money snek a rip again for elite void. Saw this and got my first two KC first two tries. Definitely the easiest way to get your first kill.

dude. i kept getting the wrong rotation and decided to stick with it, i struggled but i kept calm and followed the rest of your advice and just squeaked in my first kill on the first try. never been much of a pvmer but nailed the jad phase. thanks so much for this video

Thank you for the guide! I got my needed KC for diaries. I had no problems grinding Vorkath kills but for some reason Zulrah was a thorn in my side. This video really helped me figure out what I needed for the kill.
I struggled for so long with Zulrah, tried other guides and felt completely lost. After watching this video I managed to kill him first try! Amazing.
I would also highly recommend using runelite and labling the tiles 1-11 before the fight. That way you can see on screen exactly where to run in each phase.

Looked at like 4 guides before I realized gear switch wasn't for me. Your guide did it. 81 magic and same gear as you but used trident of the swamp and mage book. One thing I did - bring a crystal bow for that tanzanite part right after jad part. besides that i did all mage. phew still shaking, glad to be done with this for now. definitely feel confident learning this boss in the (far) future and kicking its ass.

As a baby PvMer, this guide got me 1kc in like 10-20 attempts and I have never fought a big boss/Zulrah before (because I am bad, guide was right 100%). Even helped me calm tf down during Jad phase. Thank you so much for this guide!!! (82 mag, ahrims, swamp, 3:29 duration)
