This looks amazingly beautiful. The buildings look like they were built from basic Sci-Fi pieces but putting them in clusters and forming them into a city made it look so beautiful. And this race track: Simply amazing!
Awesome spotlight Jonny thank you!! :D Really great feedback too, I loved your suggestion of using other coasters! In answer to who did what; Tommy made the coaster and the crazy task of building the road from basic shapes. He also built the amazing curved bridge, the park entrance (including the genius idea of using other coaster cars) and loads of skyscrapers. I did the terrain, ride sign, landscaping, stadiums, ferris wheel, coaster station & some of the skyscrapers. The whole thing took 9 days to create :P
Just a small criticism here….or an idea… The futuristic Ferris Wheel you built YOURSELF is VERY AWESOME, and VERY well done!!! Kudos, to you! I applaud you, for such work. Just one thing….to make it even MORE futuristic & sci-fi..? What if there were absolutely NO wheel “spokes” (which I know took you a LOOOOONG time to make, & a LOT more patience than *I* have. Lol!!! Anyway….) and instead it was just completely EMPTY. Then, in the center, don’t even have that Axel. Instead, have some forms of blue-ish energy Orb (it’d fit the color scheme well. Lol! Something brighter…like a Cyan, to show dynamic energy) there, between the two posts. Those two posts have some generators on the inside. The Axel maybe even looks like energy rays similar to what we now have with the GhostBusters ectopack “streams”. Maybe THAT could be Axel itself…or at least appear to be. Also, to the posts themselves…they could just be thick vertical poles. They wouldn’t need to be the supportive upside down V-shape, or triangular shape. They were no longer supporting weight. The energy orb is like it’s own gravity-controlling device. So, the posts are ACTUALLY just here to hold the generator nodes, the energy beams go between creating the orb, in the middle. The don’t need to be “stabilizers”. Maybe the inside of the wheel also has a few smaller energy-filled nodes reacting the the main center energy sphere/orb. They react to one another keeping the Ferris Wheel, in line & in place. The center energy deal also “speaks to”, or communicates with the wheel’s energy nodes (whatever ya wanna call them) to tell it when, which direction, & how fast to move & spin. Maybe the middle energy streams & orb DO also visually mock some spikes, by having energy streams, beams, or whatever running from the center main reactor to the wheel’s transmission nodes. Just a few…not all the way around. Like 6 of them. It’d be similar to the main reactor nodes’, on the support posts, creating a bigger energy stream (with the orb in the center) simulating a central Axel. I hope all of this is making some sort of sense, to somebody? Lol!!! I know this was 3 years ago, I just got the game, & I don’t know what was even POSSIBLE at that time (I DO know Ghostbusters DLC wasn’t out yet, though. I don’t THINK, anyway!). So, this may not have been possible, at ALL! Now that it is, & I am working on my very first full park (probably of the mini variety. Lol!) that DOES have some room for such and element, & can be done to fit within my overall theme for the park of a certain section, or “Land”….I MAY just have to try this. lol!!! We will see how it goes, I suppose. I still have a LOT to left, in this game, though. Lol! We will aee how it GOES, I guess. Haha!
Truly an amazing job on the whole concept and build. Just needs the countdown beeps and some tire squeal start sounds. The only minor issue is the long tunnel. Neither the track or cars are very visible. Need some illumination to give them some highlighting.
This was a great coaster and city. Johnny5, I was also thinking to expand on your crashing idea. Do a James Bond ride, where multiple (sacrificial) coasters start and crash while interacting with the main ride. Like many chase scenes. Maybe even a drift car ride where you can use the rotating cars to give the feeling of drifting.
Channel5 Gaming I have been watching your planet coaster videos from the beginning but next year I might finnaly get my own lap top and this will be the first game I download and I definitely will like to submit some of my creations to you once I get the game. I already have 2 ideas for parks. 1. Uncharted theme park (based on the Naughty Dog game series) 2. Six Flags Great Adventure Recreation

I intended to do the countdown beeps and totally forgot!! When I watched the video I went owwaaa the beeps! and thank you! :)
"...and my computer's officially on fire!"

Really nice idea, would give the opportunity for ramp launches or cars that fly into trucks causing explosions... Could be awesome!
Big blue from f-zero?
How is the coaster trains sitting outside of the station done?
Probably sinking another station under the ground so that you just see the trains.
PoV starts at 6:56 and 11:07
I wish I had a beastly pc so I can make some simple rides but so most pc can that can run this game smoothly can play with little to no lag.
Rawrr
