Completely agree about the lamps like if you wanted to buy the whole collection you’d be left with two almost identical lamps.. also I feel like they should’ve spent the extra $1 and included stickers or charms in the kit, otherwise the designs you can do with them are pretty lackluster for the price tag and barely look Kuromi/ hello Kitty themed.
I think it's important to leave in parts that is educational and can tell us watching what happens in specific situations. The heat spikes are such a normal experience but the extent gel is such a dense energy and some will probably avoid it. That's just cool. There are other options. You did a beautiful job.

Emily! I’m so glad you’re starting to upload again. Myself and my family have been going through a really awful life changing experience over the past 6 months and to say I’ve binge watched all your videos over the last 6 months would be an understatement. I don’t know what it is but you have this settling character and watching your videos is the way I settle myself down for sleep at night. It’s the only thing that works 😂 I’ve been bugging my partner with comments about how much I’ve missed your videos and I don’t know who’s more relieved that you’re back. I’m so glad you’re doing okay and I’m also glad you took a break. I think social media can be full of pressure to be present and I really appreciate that you’ve taken a well needed break. I did not expect the cuticle oil beads! Those look so cute. I totally lost interest in doing my nails with intricate designs and gel sometime this year, but your videos are still so enjoyable and comforting to watch. I think both sets turned out adorable and really fun.
Hi Emily I’m glad you’re back!! Just a quick thought, I really loved the Kuromi part of the set and for the hello kitty part maybe you should have tried to outline the free edge and the bow with the white gel just to catch on the French vibe from the other hand. I feel like with the red gel only the bow cut gets kinda lost, awesome set though and keep up the good work ❤

If you catch a heat spike with any nail polish (colored, base, extenders what ever). I recommend turning your FULL lamp on the longest timer. Then place your hand at the very tip of the lamp. Slowly slide your hand into the lamp. The light is hitting all of your nail btw so by time your hand is fully immersed you should be fully cured. If you’re not confident/comfortable about it then cure another 30 seconds.
This is advice Ive gotten from my nail tech. My fingers are super sensitive and this has helped amazingly since I started doing my nails a few years ago

I just found your channel and I'm obsessed w you! (not in a creep way) but your vibes, aesthetic, and talent is all top notch! I love that you have dahlia piercings along with double nostril piercings, they look really good. And surprisingly no septum, literally everyone has one haha. I think a Medusa piercing would look so good on you!

I would put tape or something under the bow cutout and then put a transparent gel in there, or a different colour and then fill in the cutouts then remove the tape. A clear window would be cute or if you have nail under there a solid colour works. I'd always worry about stuff getting caught in those cutouts. I personally prefer the Kuromi kit (and lamp) but then Kuromi's my gal XD

the heat spikes are probably because the gel reacts to the light too fast. lab muffin beauty science recently talked about how gels work in her video, it was quite an interesting watch

these seem like such a waste of money tbh. it should’ve included so much more for the price. it barely felt like kuromi or hello kitty kits. they could’ve included gems, nail stickers, colors to make the girls, etc.

Some lamps have a 90 second slow cure and that usually helps with the heat spikes

You could put tiny gems around each bow or black frame.
Instead of clipping you could do overlay method and put nail extensions a bit above cuticle and blend with the clear gel or rubber base
The non-wipe extend gel gives me heat spikes like crazy too! I thought it was just my damaged nails.
