Dude I recently got back into Pokemon after like a decade break, and decided to go all out and build drago- your videos have been so helpful in learning the deck. Thanks for making these!

It happens to the best of us. I can’t tell you how many times I wish IRL had an “undo” button hahaha

The Gardevoir player made several Abysmal plays throughout the match. First, attacking with Gardevoir ex on turn 3 was incorrect, as it allowed Rowan to take 2 Prize cards with ease. The correct play would have been to either Scream Tail the Drago, or attack the Drago with Munkidori. Furthermore, benching Klefki was incorrect, as it allowed Kyurem to be a devastating play, as well as taking up a crucial bench space.

Honesly... As a gardy player, i don't fear Regidrago VSTAR, all that much. In fact, at an LC week before Christmas, I had a match against one.
Basically, about 2 turns in i stalled, and decided to Balloon Blast for 180 on my opponent's Fez, since it was the best i could do at that moment. Couple turns in, I finally got some momentum going, but so did my opponent. 2nd to last turn, he placed Jamming Tower, KOing my Drifloon, I promoted a Kirlia trying to save at least 1 of 3, because i knew what was coming, but he used Boss's Orders anyway, brought up the lone Ralts, he used Trifrost to take out all 3 of my benched Kirlias, leaving me with just a Ralts. He was at 1 prize card, and i had 4. But thanks to all the Refinements, and Concealed Cards, I got off in the last few turns, i had like 15 cards in hand, including Munkidori, and a Darkness Energy in hand (that Fez is still on the field with 180hp btw). I top deck Rare Candy, and all I needed was a way to gust up his Mew ex. Here's the sequenced that followed
Super Rod in, and Nest Ball out Radiant Greninja
Night Stretcher back Psychic Energy, Concealed Cards it, fail to draw Counter Catcher
Rare Candy Ralts to Gardevoir ex, Psychic Embrace 3 times onto Gardy.
Bench Munkidori, attach Darkness Energy, Adarena-Brain 3 damage onto the benched Fez, KOing it.
Draw Boss's Orders off prizes, gust up the Mew ex
    Win.
That was my best IRL match I've had.
I'm not sure what kinda Gardy list that guy is running, but mine is quite the far cry from the typical gardy. I tried Henry Chou's list, and I'm simply not big brain enough to make it work. My is closer to Taisei Kato's list that took 14th at Champions League Osaka, but still very different. Ultimately, Regidrago is the most effective tactic available, so I'm sure luck was kinda on my side.
