  • Whenever Nigeria is mentioned, the first idea that pops up in people's minds is Boko haram, have you ever thought about another option? A different reality?
Let's make a short tour of Abuja, the Federal capital of Nigeria.
Let's tell African stories in an African way!!

Just as anyone can get shot at in America, no one is talking about it. You people should stop using Boko Haram as if other countries are safe. In the UK, four people were shot at in a restaurant. Some people were daggered with knives in the UK, yet we don't see people talk about it except talking about Nigeria. Enough of this nonsense!

Well said. Some of us Nigerians are the architect of our own demise. We always wash our dirty laundry outside for people to see.

@@moham.279 Thanks for your intervention and here comes my point, why should we Africans show our bad sides" how about we start to show and talk about the good things we have in Africa? and we are more than capable of changing the narrative with every African contribution.

Why is it that you keep mentioning Boko Haram everytime in this video and your title gave an impression that you want to see the true side of Abuja without focusing on Boko Haram? Madam, tell me your country and I will list a lot of bad things happening there for you. The driver lives in Abuja, the people you see live there. So, if BokoHaram is the only thing you could talk about, then what is the need for going there in the first place? Preconceived notions won't help us as Africans. Open your heart to learning new things and your perspective avout life won't be the same again. Bye.

thanks for your reaction, I truly understand you. My video shows that Abuja is secure even though people think about Boko haram whenever Nigeria is mentioned. I wanted to tackle the stereotypes around that, and I don't think I could do it without Boko haram mentioned.

@@gimbiya33Really🙄?? and you had to mention that "by the time boko- haram comes to Abuja you would have left in 2 days time?? Why did you come to Nigeria in the first place if most of your conversation dwell mostly on boko-haram? I don't get it🤷🏿‍♀️.

@@childrentoys4537 Funny enough, the Boko Haram they keep talking about, which has been largely contained btw, used to be mostly in Borno state which is in the Norh East part of the country, far away from Abuja, about a 1000 miles from Lagos on the coast. But they talk as if Boko haram is running wild all over the country
Every country has security issues but everyone seem fixated on Nigeria as if there's a war going on here. The propaganda is getting too much
These media people should let Nigeria breath

The Abuja National Stadium renamed after the democracy martyr, Moshood Abiola, sits more than 60,000 spectators. The driver misinformed you about few things he said.
Thanks for visiting our capital city, Abuja. When coming back next time, ask for an informed tour guide.
