Sir can you explain the auction part again? If the manufacturers are auctioning the credits to other manufacturers how will the government get revenue? The selling manufacturer would get the extra revenue I feel.

European Union (EU) auctions emission allowances to companies in the EU carbon market. The revenues from these auctions are used by EU member states to fund climate, renewable energy, and energy efficiency projects. In 2022, the EU earned EUR30 billion from auctions, up from EUR5 billion in 2017. India could go on similar lines was the idea
