just started in this field 6 months ago and my tool truck dealer didn't let me get a tool box when i was 2 months in because his exact words " wait a year before you get a big purchase like this" and my express boss told me to start off with a harbor freight one saved me big time
Definitely if you are new you do not need a brand new snap on box in my opinion. Save your money for tools, I'm an RV technician have been doing it for over 4 years. Started with a smaller craftsman top box and bottom cabinet, after 2 years got a Husky box with a wood top, and a few months ago got a used Snap-on box that is bigger - length, width, and height that I got off a Matco truck. I only got it because I needed the room. Tools are way more imlortant.
i have one of those long vertical us general tool boxes with harbor freight, husky, Milwaukee tools and a 1/2 snap on air impact (which i don't like) @@pablosgarage707
It took me a year to get on the truck and I only got a box because I was running out of space and I'm moving over to main shop here shortly to do engine work. We got a new lube tech who's been in the shop for 2 weeks and is already 4K in and I tried to tell him he should just buy harbor freight, home Depot and Lowe's. I still have all mine that I use everyday husky, Pittsburgh and icon. I have 2 nice matco ratchets one I bought off eBay for a low price and had the matco rep replace the flex head on it and he did it for free.
Camry is good. Will assemble the engine one of these weekends. Charger is also doing well. I need to drag the 440 out of my moms garage to finish its assembly then I will be replacing the torque converter and other things to go with the higher hp build. The 440 is .30 over .545 lift cam forged pistons, studded main, edelbrock heads, edelbrock victor intake, should be a fun car!
Wow, that guy literally walked on there saying he wanted a 3/8 impact and walked off with 1/2 mega torque! It will definitely loosen any wheel. Those vim rails are awesome.
Respectfully, homie buying the impact and toolbox really needs to take a step off the tool truck for a bit and stock up on basic hand tools like those 1/2 sockets. Buy a us general 5 drawer cart, or the 6 drawer full bank cart for $5-600 and buy a complete set of shallow/deep pittsburgh impacts. They're cheap, warrantied and just a simple impact socket. Hope it all works out for him regardless, he obviously has a passion here.
The big high torque guns are rarely needed for everyday use. A smaller, lighter, cheaper mid or low torque is much more practical. You can take lug nuts off cars and light trucks with a M12 3/8" impact.
If you hold the trigger for a few seconds on the dewalt it goes inot turbo mode. It’s something like 3-5 seconds. Awesome impact, hits like a heavy weight and blows the Milwaukee right out of the water man. Also, if it doesnt come off after it goes into turbo, best off letting go of the trigger and trying again. Doesnt help to keep impacting for 10-15 seconds. It pretty much maxes out after 7-8 seconds. (assuming that you’re trying to get something loose and not tight that is)
I picked up the 3 pc antivibe hammer set today thats in the black friday ad starting next week. I didn’t see any antivibes on Justin’s truck in your video, but I’m assuming he stocks them?
My Mac dealer doesn’t even know about these socket rails I been asking him. I want specifically red and black but I don’t think he can even find any individual. Where do I get these in red and black
what does he want for the universal impact extension set that’s on clearance is it Sae or Mm and 1/2” or 3/8” drive ? He’s had them on clearance a long long time? Thank you
I am not sure however I put a link to his instagram on my video description. Send him a dm on instagram I’m sure he can work something out on it! Thanks for watching appreciate it!
isn’t that gun cost 279$ gun, battery bag and charger from Home Depot on line? It is, I checked it today. What a rip off from Mac dealer. I like Mac, but sometimes worth checking Dewalt elsewhere.
Lol I would not stand on a snap on door either. Caesar and I literally not only bought the same style box but same time as well apparently
Good job brother keep up the hard work and keep going.
Thank you appreciate it! Thanks for watching I rally appreciate it!

Definitely a good move. Both of my boxes are us general. For tools I have Mac snap on and icon.
Sometimes I regret my purchase I waited 2 years before I bought one I had a kobalt 3 drawer tool cart. Upgraded to a snap on 6 drawer tool box

I really like those vim socket rails but they are too pricey to hold all my sockets and bits.

Those vim rails are awesome.
They are I love mine. He mainly does tires I recommend the 1/2 due to some big vineyard trucks that have super tight lug nuts.
@@pablosgarage707 Gotcha 👍
Just listening to the kid in the back get sucked in lmaooo
I was thinking same thing seems like a fresh tech about to spend 4k😂
I really want a Mac truck to come to my job. I’d never go back in the matco truck. But I’ll always go in the snappy money takers truck lol
We get mac every week. Snap on occasionally no matco. Would be cool to get all 3 but that would turn into 3 tool bills 😂😅

Bad ass, those rails are the shit

Torue test channel tested the Gen 2 Milwaukee 3/8s mid torue to be even stronger than the Gen 2 1/2. The 3/8s has balls.
Go down to harbor Freight and get the Metric 1/2” deep impact sockets for like 25 bucks and buy the 1/2” Milwaukee and you are set.
I have the icon impact sockets I love them. I also have a pits-burg set for at home.

I agree. Doesn’t mean it’s better or worse than mikeaukee ( not sure price difference though

He does they are usually out but they probably all sold he keeps more towards the back. I have 2 antivibes I love them!
Wish my mac tool truck was like this, my guy sucks his truck looks nothing like this
Vim makes the best socket rails hands down and there up to 8 colors i believe
They do I’m loving them so far we’ll worth the price!
My Mac dealer doesn’t even know about these socket rails I been asking him. I want specifically red and black but I don’t think he can even find any individual. Where do I get these in red and black
Always a good day when the tool truck vids are uploaded

How long has little homie in the ball cap been wrenching? 'Cause if he as new as he looks, shame on his mentor.
