What an endearing and genuine person! The thing that comes across to me is that whatever we do as Christians we must be ourselves. We all have different personalities, and sometimes we don't esteem ourselves, or quite know who we are, and the temptation could be to emulate someone else we admire as better than us. But I truly believe God made us all unique, with different skills and talents. Mine is also speaking from the heart, using humour. I used to think this might be irreverent of me when sharing my particular communication skill, which is sharing my Christian songs in churches etc., but one day I decided to just be myself and chat about Jesus normally - and I realised that being oneself in Christ is what He wants. People can spot an ungenuine person a mile away. I love this guy! How can I join his team?
I didn't know about your psychiatric training. Knowing that, you HAVE to invite Timothy Jennings of Come And Reason Ministries on your program. He is a psychiatrist who brings the "healing model" to Christianity. This view has made me enthusiastic about being a Christian again.
