I like that analogy of the News/MSM. I am very much on the un-informed side there. I rarely watch/read about what's going on in the world and I'm mentally better off for it. I miss the Wednesday evenings at West Beach now summer is gone. They are at least doing bike breakfast meets on Sunday mornings now.
Hi Phil, I never did get to a bike night at WBC, I am hoping I can get there for a Sunday breakfast! How are the breakfasts? I think the MSM and news have always been this way, they've just stopped trying to pretend they are neutral and unbiased.
@@mightybeanstick9872 I will most likely be there this Sunday if the weather isn't too bad. I haven't had their breakfasts yet but if the burger and chips they were doing for the bike nights is anything to go by then it should be good.
My old Honda will be 40 years old next year! 🙂 Honda XBR 500 bought her from brand new from a Honda 5* 🤣garage in Cowley near Oxford (the retaining bolts on the top of the rear shocks were finger tight. 😠) I'm with you I haven't watched 'The News' for years.... I did over COVID as we kind of had to for a while, but when things calmed down I stopped watching. I just found it depressing in an already depressing situation / World. I was working from home and 'isolated' which didn't help. I like most sports (even tennis 🤣 Apart from football...as I can't stand them rolling around 'in agony' and faking.... I'll be honest, a 'bike night' is my idea of hell... I was listening to Babe 'purring away' and wondering how many years / miles it's been since you thought she had an engine problem....🤔 🤣 As my old Dad used to say 'If it ain't broke....don't fix it' 🤣 I've only done about 1K miles this year...weather shocking...unless I was at work 🙁
Hi Paul, a Honda is definitely something I would consider if I was able to get another bike (in addition to Babe, of course). I'd quite like to get a VFR750 project, if I had somewhere to keep and work on it! That, or a BMW. Ah, the 'engine noise'! :) I think it's something that has always been there. Strangely it only seems to be noticeable at idle, once on the move, Babe, as you say, seems to purr along. I think I've just got used to fretting over it. I'm not an avid 'bike night' attendee, I was just curious, and a couple of the other motovloggers who have been there have posted pics of pretty tasty looking food (and that, I am a fan of!) Congratulations on your bike getting to 40 years, clearly you're a better bike owner than me (see upcoming video). I wonder if more recent Hondas would fare so well.

@Phil480 Hope you are OK Phil, for some reason I don't seem to have been getting notified of your vids? Do you still have your rats?
