I used my i551 stamp to come and go as I pleased before my green card came in I live in california and would go to baja california 🙃 never gave me a hard time🙂
@Zuli of course but you shouldn't have any problems with the 12 months since us costoms knows that it's extended to 12 months but ur green card should have arrived by then

Thanks for the informative video. Question: I am waiting for my replacement green card in the mail. I will be attempting to get a I 551 stamp but I do not currently owe a passport. The only paperwork I have is the recent i797 c. Is there any other way that I can still get the stamp without a passport?
