Honda 750 four, Saviour Frame, springer front end, king/queen seat, coffin tank. I'm 65 and I've had that bike built in my head since I was 12.
It's such a great feeling when you work on your bike and it fires right up. The camera attached to those jumbo forks made for an awesome shot.
Dude the ending of this one was epic. Thanks for the content. And hell yea on the chopper I’m hoping to hard tail mine over winter. I appreciate the inspiration. To keep pushing.
3:59 Thanks for the shot to the ticker, ShadeTree! I'm watching in bed and nearly through my tablet across the room!
Raffle tickets purchased... Love that you guys do so much for charity. Just a bonus to get a crack at a bad ass FXR...
That chopper makes sketchy fun! You had a blast riding that. Great job getting it to run again. When I first saw the FXR my initial reaction was pull the shovel and drop a 103 in it. But then you started it and it sounded so smooth and ran flawlessly and yes that motor has been messaged. I have an 86 FXR Lowrider which I've owned for 28 years and currently has 120,000 miles on it. I would have no problem riding that home here to South Carolina.
I love that 70s Honda chopper. The long front end and the spoke wheels. Beautiful chopper for sure.
Josh, this video brought me back some 40+ years! I was mostly a rookie riding motorcycles except for small dirt bikes & such I had a chance to ride a hard tail Harley chopper! A 1963 900 Harley sportster engine and trans on an Aman frame with a 20" Over springer! Man, I Loved that bike ! ! ! I bought my first motorcycle at age 62 & I'm now 71 years old and I ride a1992 Sportster 883
I love your chopper! I need one!
You have an awesome bike there my friend. I love it.
And a Zippo casts more light than the headlight! Mega cool ride though, I love them forks, I don't know why there ain't more people making front ends. Well done Shadetree Surgeon! 🤘👊✌️
The release of dopamine when you get something this naughty and sketchy back on the road again. Merry Christmas to you Josh, keep up the good content here my good man!
750 SOHC engine is my favorite powerplant, starting to get hard to find, used to be everywhere you turned around.
Man that motor sounds divine.
Shadetree, you are the mostest, awesomest brother-cousin I need to take a ride to meet. Since we are in the same state and only a short ride away, I would like to smack five, slide your hand, and learn the ways of the dialect, jargon, argot, and communication vernacular. I enjoy your channel, the awesome giveaways, and the comrade, boon companions that grace the better part of the shiny side of the channel. Be of good cheer this year and Next Year 25 have a way awesome time.🤪😜😝
That has got to be the dopest 750 chopper I've seen. Alsooooo....the new raffle bike is SICK. Perfect timing! Help Forgotten Angels put some good into the world AND possibly take home one of the single most iconic bikes in the history of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company? You ain't gotta threaten me with a good time. I'm in.
My late father rode an 80s CB750 and I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for them. I still have the bike in storage but life is busy
I have a 76 cb 750. It's in pieces right now. 😂
Man, I can not wait to finish that project.
Love your content Shadetree.
This is gnarly man, I have been away from home and all my reg daily routine stuff for a long time and have just returned. something didn't feel right, still i have no idea why but this video session here is helping. This bike. or one like it, for real, feels like something that has been missing. It;s that kind of thing. also feels completely unnecessary at t the same time. LOL wow!!!! Shes a beauty, step right up and don'y be shy. I'm halfway through and stopped to write ya about this champion heart throb swank machine. :0) Great Vid ...
We're all rooting for you, Josh, get that chopper.
On the road.🤠😎👌
I've been there. CB750, mine was cafe chopped. Still rode my Suzuki GT550 custom because it was more fun. Shop rag seats and rear sets..we did it fun!!
that cbchopper is one of the better bikes that i have seen in a while.. thanks for sharing this vid..
Save the chopper!
That is the same exhaust I'm putting on my CB750 chopper. It's my late Uncles that I'm restoring. I love that sound.
My 71 FX 93 inch stroker. Shovel performed the same way you got a balance and blueprint that motor.💯 to make it super reliable and update anything you can inside of it
Even if you don’t get it running, lots of people would restore it
I just had the same experience with my old corolla drift car, Rear end was blown up and it's been sitting for months, maybe even years at this point. Finally found a used rear end That I ended up having to cobble together because it was also blown up. But finally got my car on the road and the feeling is amazing. I need to swap in a bigger rear end, but at least the car is driving.😍
That is a clean looking FXR Josh. I'd definitely fly in and ride it home. FRED!!!!!
Wish I could afford it, I'll probably never own another bike, but I like your show my grandkids live with me and I put together 2 Coleman bike's stage 2 racing kit and they love them, anyhow your show brings back a lot of memories, road hard my whole life and have owed a lot of the bike's you have featured
love that FXR best handling frame with the best sounding engine shovel on the deaccelerating popping! music to my ears
a road trip on that bike would be awesome!
Awesome Man! Looks and Sounds fantastic. Good job Brother🤙
Sounds like we need to hear the story how that guy took everyone off guard
Nice dirt bike interlude …..
Tks for that.
VA VA VROOM!!!
….. and the boating …..
YOU need that shovel Josh! What a beautiful bike
Have a 74' cb750 11000miles and in really good shape. Was my dad's. Have original mint factory exhaust but I had to have a Kerker 4 into one. Gotta love the 4 cylinders, 4 carburetors sound and not lacking power for 750ccs.
Nice watching the headers change colour, that's colour from the UK. 🇬🇧
Thanks for the great video I love the chopper it reminds me of my younger days my neighbor just bought a Harley Dyna for $200 with a title yeah but there's a catch it was under water for 3 weeks this thing needs the world saltwater of course it's a ball of crust he said it had issues before it was flooded yeah I'll be fun if that thing ever runs have a great day Merry Christmas I'll keep watching
I wish you luck my friend, that sounds like a righteous project!
Man... That shovel is sweet. I test ride an 83 a few years ago and still kicking myself for not figuring out some way to scrape up the cash to make it my own.
Was that the intake you need for second carb on Goldwing. Love the dramatic poetic entrance for it.
Gave my father my cb750 chopper 40 years ago. Probably still in Florida somewhere.
17:59 medicinal but not for AIDS...your talking about the Shovelhead!😂😂 It's got the twin fillers and tank console you like. It is a classy modest colour.👍
I had a 1983 fxrt 30 plus tears ago. Tore off the fairing and bags, still wish I had it. Time to buy tickets. I do believe this has a stroker motor.
Cammie's Yamaha cover on the other lift cracked me up!!
Shade tree it would be an awesome adventure and would love to ride that FXR all the way back to San Antonio Texas
The sound from the cb 750 sounds glorious even through RUclips!
Woah, nice! my chopper is 11 feet , 18 over forks on a 300 rear but yours looks longer? Cool whip cat!
My name is Harley and you would have to be some kind of sob to not like that awesome chopper. A cool bike is a cool bike no matter what badge it wears.
The old Honda does not deserve to be scrapped. Pretty cool build for a cb750.
But id have to say, the shovel FXR is awesome ! Very clean and stock lookin' but there's lotsa tricks that can be done to make a shovel extremely powerful, I know because I've owned a 83 flh with a 96" S&S shovel and lemme tell ya it was extremely quick and fast! Like a damn freight train with no brakes!😂😂😂😂😂 I felt like Casey Jones full throttle with the feeling I would never stop.
I was waving at you in that Honda Pilot. Lol
Dude hell yeah!
It's a nice sounding engine in a good looking bike. 💯👏👏👏
What year did you first build your chopper. The reason I ask as you was building a chopper when i started watching your videos. You made me miss my 59 hardtail I had years ago. Since then I am on my 3rd bike.
That shock clip was great definitely something I learned the hard way a time or 2 😆 🤣
For those that are wondering why he is running Rotella T4, its JASO rated for wet clutches. Most "car" oils are not, well nearly all.
Hammer therapy? Surely you mean "percussive maintenance" 😁
13 inch rear shocks and a single seat is all the upgrades it needs
The rumor is that there were 300 FL shovelheads that were destined to Chicago police but the order was canceled. Those shovelheads were titled 1984 and sold to the public. They had a belt drive in the primary as well as the final drive.
I miss my CB750. I need to get off my dead ass and reassemble it.
Good looking scooter
Nice sound on the old tickers
I love that long chopper.
Ride that FXR all the way home!!!
= love = Love = LOVE the Shovel / FXR

My first bike was at 74 CB 750. I also had a 78.❤ they are fantastic Bikes I really love them until I got on my first triumph and then I was sold
Oh sht, that bonus was 🔥.
22:30 I’m currently playing with old Vespas try doing 55mph on 10” tyres that’s good fun!
Bonus! Watch till the end!!!!🙏
I love that chopper.
Still have my CB759. Gonna restore into a cafe. Have had alotta bikes over the years, '82 GS1100E, V65Magna and more. Nithing like the sound of that single cam 750. Can have a dead battery, turn the headlight off and kick her ti life. The Japanese rocked the motorcycle world. I got my 1st Harley, a 2015 Fatboy and shes awesome. But cant even come close to my '93 GL1500.
GOLDWING IS KING!
I have a bunch of CB750 a couple cool choppers ,love them.
Damn clean that motor.
This video reminds me of y I started watching all those years ago
11:41 this bike brought me to the channel, the rest of the vibes made me stay.
I appreciate ya brother
Maybe it's because it's the only engine I've ever had, but I'm Team Twin Cam all the way.
We had a 750 Suzuki Gt chopped like that....The old water Buffalo.....A two- cycle chopper that would make noises like no other...
A chopped Water Buffalo?WOW! That would be crazy!
Because I know I don't have the money to keep that bike maintained I would offer it to Jason for a road king or a 04 or newer sportster. So around 3 to 4k maybe? He has the ability to maintain it and he wants one. As for me shovelheads are cool same with the fxrs just not my first choice unless money is no object lol. Then I could have several backups 🤣🤣. Good vid
Those cb 750 bikes are really cool and powerful
Hmmm, trailer lights!
your struggle 70s chopper ...lol , i love that bike ride it more!
My 81 FLT had a 93 in stroke kit, along with modern clutches and charging system, it was so damn fast, I'm wondering what they done to the FXR
College try? My azz.
Get it Josh!
The Shade-tree Ply!
Fairbanks Morris also made massive diesel engines for the US Navy Submarines
Thanks

I do miss my 750. It was no slouch.
That’s a proper chopper.
That was bad af man🤘
When will you be raffling the CB chopper???????
Can’t wait!
Watching your channel all the way from the Big island of Hawaii. I want to get in on some raffle action. What are my chances of getting a flight to Florida and riding my trophy home. 👺
Chances are low to make it home… might run into trouble after California. But you could always ride around I circles on a boat on the way to the island!
Mind keep a car length behind anyone else!😮😂😂
Will you be at Gib town bike fest?
That headlight would look way better mounted below the triple tree between the forks
Behold... the awakening of 1/3/5 😎
Great video!!! ❤
Wow that shovel is unreal man . Dont fuck with that power plant
I have a 1970 cb 750 with a extended front fork's right from the factory. And I am the 3 owner. The original owner is still alive.
you got the like from the moment you took the buzz
Josh the Shovelhead rule is buy and rebuild it before riding.
Hello from Palatine
❤ love the chopper ❤
