Theory on Floyd the Pink Ninja. He's a kosmic being that has prism powers, but really those moves are just a tease. If Floyd is a Kosmic Being that makes him " the silver surfer" for The One Being that gets references here and there.
Something Ive liked about the whole MKX Sub Zero situation is that Kuai is essentially the alt skin, while the primary skin is never used in canon(i think). It wasnt until those MK Legends movies that its revealed to be a Bi-Han outfit
Seeing how some things in Liu Kang's timeline are still fixed points, I think Hanzo will end up being Scorpion anyway and Kuai Liang will learn ice magic to become the new Sub Zero.
I feel like there is so much potential and so many different ways to go about it. -Have Bi-Han die and become Noob Saibot, Hanzo as Sub. -Have Bi-Han kill Kuai, Kuai becomes Noob, Hanzo becomes Scorpion Or, my favorite, -Smoke dies and becomes Noob. Hanzo either becomes a new Smoke, or something else entirely. Maybe Smoke + Fire equals… lava? Tremor type ninja?
I remember when I watched the MKX reveal trailer back in the day, I thought Sub-Zero was going to be a brand-new character, like a long-lost third brother, or something like that.

MKX Bi-Han is definitely one many would've wanted, kinda disappointed they just went back on most of the second timeline changes because of it. I think the Shao Kahn Sub-Zero one might've been started/heavily supported by Cyber Sub-Zero's very ambiguous tower ending, where Shao's soul takes over the cyborg and turns him into Cyber Shao Kahn with frozen powers. The Dairou Havik idea is sorta supported by how many scrapped ideas make it into the second and third timeline so it wouldn't be surprising, also a neat proposal. Liu Kang being the secret bad guy would've been interesting but ultimately redundant as he would've just become Kronika 2.0, which is explored in his invasions season for the Dark Dragon Liu Kang. It's a neat proposal and a matter of perspective as mentioned though. I've heard about the Rain one before from that same source, it's a neat explanation to why Armageddon and the first timeline would lead to a doomed finale. Not sure if it exactly included Shao winning though. - As for any current theories, for me it's that Floyd is a new Zaterran, falling consistent with how Zaterrans seemingly copy abilities often, but Floyd is more advanced than the 2 Chameleons due to his powers being real time rather than transitional like early Reptile. Another one is that Onaga being a random beast of sorts in the New Era is the result of Onaga doing a Deception bit again and astrally projecting himself to oversee the events of the New Era unfold, perhaps being the cause of the timeline "fixing itself" aside from the obvious interventions of Titan Shang.

Dude... the new versions of those villains were punished for crimes of different timeline variants. That's like being punished for an evil twin's crimes you never committed. Yeah, the eventually become evil... but, it solely the fault of a god who punished them for shiz they didn't do. Best course of action should have been not letting them be born or exist. If little swimmer villains never made it to the egg then they wouldn't cause trouble.
The most shocking part of this entire video was hearing HBTW referred to by his first name. I've followed him since the MKX days and I don't think I've ever heard his name before 😂

I think itll be a metaphorical and physical change for him "chilling out" after being so hot headed and angry, so he can properly build his clan and train hanzo to be the fire dude. I see him raising hanzo as a son with harumi, then harumi dies and hanzo gets all angry, possibly eventually leading to him dying and becoming a revenant

Ok so bout theory 4, it wouldve been interesting if liu kang was a bad guy thats gone mad with power, oh well I think that its weird that liu talks bout free choice but intentionally stunted the previous villains even tho theyre new people (as other games show that each worlds versions of chars are different) and even then smoke, baraka and reptile didnt get it much better and now everyones gotta live with the fact that once theyre gone liu will just make another timeline where other versions of themselves will just get messed up again

The legends movies + MK11 endings also reveal Bi-Han uses the non canon default from MK11 too.
