it looks like everyone has different views of what the songs about, but i like to think it means he realizes that there’s love available to him but can’t figure out how to accept it because his minds telling there isn’t love (depression and ruminating) and his mind is faking him out

I know they’re emo (which I love) but the messaging is definitely punk, especially in this album
