Thank you for sharing because of you I learned to operate small than mid size excavator and clear my lot. Such a great experience and learning I had and also money saving. I’ll be building my own house and I can’t say enough to thank you for sharing all your work. Life and work with your projects shared online makes things look very easy. Hope you benefit as well from large audience same as we do from you! God bless you and your family!!! Wish you are here in Nashville TN.
Wow , only the very skilled and experienced could get that job done, especially with all the obstacles , slope , rain , sheds ,tree right in the way and access. Your awesome and great to watch your thought process , glad your thinking out loud so I can learn . I have trapped myself and created problems that I could have circumnavigated but I am learning from these experiences and from your videos . Thanks Boss
Your ability to talk to and explain to us while doing your work, along with its quirks and complications along with an upbeat attitude and impeccable "boss of the dirt" neatness skills is unmatched and makes a great channel subscription. I always look forward to your uploads, good sir.😇
I love how you manage whatever site you're working on. Keeping everything clean, well groomed and organized. It's nice to see someone who knows what they're doing and is a master in whatever field they're in. Can't even tell you how many businesses I have seen come and go over the years due to negligence, not knowing how to price jobs, scope creep, or just simply not knowing how to follow a blueprint and implement the plan. It's so nice to see someone like yourself teach, explain, and show others what to do and not to do, with your many years of hard earned knowledge and trial and error. Thank you DirtBoss!! Absolutely love the channel! You are most definitely on your way to 100k subs and beyond!
Not quite pulling your hair out, you saved that for the stumps😂😂 Not quite enough room to swing a CAT, but plenty of room for a Kobelco 😂 Definitely a tight site to work on Dirt Boss 💪💪💪
Boss man, you carved that foundation just like my brother-in-law does the Thanksgiving Turkey. Neat and clean in bite sized pieces! She’s a looking Nice-a-Nice!
Hey *BOSS* your working like you was a kid in a PLAYPEN! This is a tight one, the equipment is big AND needs room to turn. Nice job and you never fail to leave access for the next crew. Hope they appreciate it. This homeowner surely hired the right *EXCAVATION COMPANY* and a BIG GUY with the ability to *THINK* Thank you!
you have a great work ethic! I hope the builders appreciate your beautiful site prep, you always thinking three steps ahead to make the other workers happy and productive!👍👍
That was interesting, several days all in one video. I keep hearing all you East Coast people complaining about how hard the soil is. In my town every construction project requires jackhammers. It's all basalt here. Fun part is when we find a large air bubble in the rock with a mini aquifer in it.
Somewhere I have (or used to have) an old Allis-Chalmer's manual about how to manage a worksite (cutting, hauling, etc) and I remember it saying you need to have 3x the space for excavated material. So if you're digging out 10 yards, expect it to take up 30 yards of space.
Hey mike great work bud, looks completely different after you got everything cleared an dug, tight area for sure like you said, thanks for sharing 💪🇺🇲🤙✊👌
D-Boss! Great video…that was a lot of crying over plenty of space…but hard hard dirt gets me mad too! I’m just jealous because I hardly ever get a job where I can leave all the spoils on site…in Princeton down here I almost always have to haul everything out and back in because you can barely spin…just like I’m doing right now…but I’m on vakay with the fam in hattaras right now, hitting the surf, pounding brew!…and I’ll backfill it when I get up there…but right now it’s…beer-thirty!
Nice Video as a Kobelco Fan from Vorarlberg (Which is a Kobelco Country) its nice to see an SK160 these are not arround here Maschines below 30tons are Short Radius 99% although there are some 210 and 260ties with conventional tailswing in Gravel pits and such. Always interessting to see how stuff is done in other parts of the earth, i never operated an excavator with a thumb, since they are not arround here, they seem to be very common in the usa and other areas.
@@DIRT-BOSS I think in my state there is not one Excavator with a thumb except for a Bobact Mini in a Rental fleet. But here everyone has oilquick or the Liebherr Likufix so you can swap to a grapple or clamshell or whatever you use very quick.
Great video as usual. How is it the homeowner who is living in that old house would build new and then knock down the old one? I never see that, they usually live in it until they die. Most of the time I see new buyers building new but not really with established homeowners in an old house like that.
I love your content but have to quit RUclips due to their Medical Misinformation Policy. I don't trust them or the people they're fronting for - the World Health Organization that gave us the pandemic. You'll be missed.

Tight, real tight.
Nice, I like the counter weight look on the 160.

Nice to have a thumb ,I need one on my 160.

Another Brilliant episode Mike and another learning experience! Explaining the site constraints, it is a difficult job!
Watching from Ohio! Always enjoy your videos 😊
Great job Boss 👍🏻🇺🇸
Nice to have a narrower bucket , I have a 2 ft for my 160 works pretty good not as much weight and not a wide trench. Nice job.
you have a great work ethic! I hope the builders appreciate your beautiful site prep, you always thinking three steps ahead to make the other workers happy and productive!👍👍
Awesome work DB

I hear you GoPro makes everything look twice as far though it really is tight no lie!
Nice video & content Mike.
Back on site
Nice thanks for

Yes a thumb is a must in land clearing for sure or picking up rock's it's definitely useful
@@DIRT-BOSS I think in my state there is not one Excavator with a thumb except for a Bobact Mini in a Rental fleet. But here everyone has oilquick or the Liebherr Likufix so you can swap to a grapple or clamshell or whatever you use very quick.
Nice video, until you " speed up" video😮. Really like to watch the entire process while it unfolds😉❗
You are the man DB.
What does that property cost finished with land today? Good job with the equipment. thanks
👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
👍🏻
You good man? I hope you're just on vacation/family stuff!
Yeah right I wish..working 14 hours a days 7 days a week im beat up..lol
It's a fact that the gravel driveway will be a mess during construction. I would have moved below the stump to pull it.
I hear you that first we are putting stumps in the top so I didn't want to try to move it all around..
DirtBoss
where’s the ripper tooth? you have one for the 160, should have used it
No quick coupler pain in the butt to change for a couple stumps
Now is that the new thumb that you showed me the picture of?
No its not
Great video as usual. How is it the homeowner who is living in that old house would build new and then knock down the old one? I never see that, they usually live in it until they die. Most of the time I see new buyers building new but not really with established homeowners in an old house like that.
Yeah 🤷
so when did you put the hyd thumb on the 160 excavator?
Always had it
Is there gonna by next part?
Sure if you want me too
How many of your customers watch or have seen your channel? The videos surely help bring in new work but how much really?
