you didn't mention the rescue mine shaft in the beginning and I was thinking - no way is Jesse going to be that close and not hit the rescue shaft. Glad you didn't disappoint. That does seem to be getting filled up a lot and I had heard rumors that it was gated off awhile ago. You guys covered a hell of a lot of ground in one day especially with that many machines.
@@lighthousemediaservices9002 you can see they tried to gate it and someone tore it down. It’s a shame that soon you won’t be able to go there I’m sure.
@@MrEsimmons178 I know a few who have done it after our last attempt and they got to go into the water but there was so much debris that the go pro got tangled. Logs, trees, Etc all down inside. I saw the footage and it was wild looking
Hey Jesse, do you know the story behind the dump truck being there? Also, i was crying at the dog behind you in the intro. Looked to be "taking care of business" 😂😂😂
@@JoeCurtis-es2og from what I have been told is that a few years ago a guy working the mine fell asleep or was drinking and rolled that off the hill to where it is now. It was up side down but they flipped it over and left it saying it was too expensive to recover and wasn’t worth the cost.
Love your videos. Your maps look awesome. Are you importing map files into back country pro or does the maps just look like that when you open it in that area? Thanks in advance and happy New Year sir.
@@ShortyG724 all of the rescue shafts that I know of are in the same general area. There are some in the fans just up the trail from this one but they welded the door shut on them
_What an awesome trip!_

Yet another enjoyable video, Jesse. Keep up the family friendly content. We need it. 🎖️

@@TheCanAmCrewI believe the old shaft goes down into an old part of the US Steel Mine that is now owned by Cleveland Cliffs and is near Pineville.
i think you need to revisit the gopro on the fishing rod idea and find the bottom this time…

Unrelated but headed to Royal blue this weekend and can’t find a gpx file that works for avenza? Do you sale One? Don’t need a whole pad
@@zakksrage my files are BCN files for back country navigator. I believe you would need a gpx kml or kmz
@ I have bcn on the iPad too
@ you might have bcn xe but you can’t have bcn pro. Apple doesn’t support that app and bcn pro is what you would need
I’ve see some other rescue shafts in other videos (different then the vent shafts by where y’all were). Any idea where those are?
