Please keep Tobias faraway from the Knicks! Knicks players play with toughness, grit and energy, he doesn't that culture. Only Giannis, Kelly Oubre and few guys play like that in the league. I actually want Kelly Oubre on the Knicks, him and Precious coming off bench will be double dose of energy.

If he's willing to play for the MLE, Harris would be a great addition. He's better than Bojan.
His playoff numbers are MUCH better than Randle's.

@@RamonAcosta191 Whatever...I don't think it matters because he'll likely get more than the mid level exception from someone. His defensive effort is better and more consistent than Randle's. He's a better defender than Bojan. If you can get a strong 6'9" 17 and 7 player who can get his own shot for the mle, you do it.

Health is not guaranteed. Team Depth is the solution. If you can rely on the bench players to contribute, then it's less playing time for the starters. Lessen the chance of them being injured

I’ve been saying all season and last season that my NYK’s should have gone out and try to acquire Saddiq Bey or Patrick Williams. Either player would be perfect off your bench and possible spot starter in case of injury. Plus sized wings is what the league is built on and these 2 players fit the bill. Gimme either and we would cover so much ground in the talent search.

Out of these guys that you list, it has to be between Sadiq, or Oubre. I don’t think oubre signs with us but I could envision sadiq. I also think he fits pretty solid with the team

The Knicks need to stay away from Tobias Harris. He is so ineffective. I've never seen a player score 20 points and grab 10 rebounds so quietly. His stats never impact a game. And let's not forget, he scored 0 points in a the Game 7 closeout game of the first round against the Knicks.
I'm not opposed to Tobias Harris if he comes off the bench. I think he was in a bad situation in Philly.
Tobias off bench for like 3 mil a year MAYBE. But the guy has a weird lackadaisical energy that doesn't seem to fit the Knicks vibe. And IDK how you can be in a bad situation when you have an oversized contract and Embiid and Maxey, he should have been a perfect complement to them but he just plays with zero fire and doesn't get better in the off seasons.
I agree with you assessment but I'd argue that he needed to get touches and gain a rhythm which wasn't going to happen as a third option on the 76ers, which is why I think he'd be great as the sixth man or lead player on the second unit. He can then be that "1st option" and play extended minutes while giving our starting unit a breather and keeping the pressure high on opposing defenses.

Oubre Jr chose the Sixers over the Knicks and it turn out to be big mistake while him and Sixers went home Knicks advanced in playoffs. He spurned the Knicks to sign with 6ers for minimum but he’s 28. What will he look for in multi year deal as back up and he’s often injured with his track record never playing full 82 games healthy in single season since he’s been in league for 9 yrs. What’s his next injury excuse he got into accident by getting hit with car in NYC 🤣

There is no way that Tobias Harris won't get a pretty sizable offer. He may not get that 40 million dollar max but I have to think he can at least get 20 million a year on the market from a team like OKC or Detroit.

The knicks can not use the mid level exception this season. Using that exception hard caps the Knicks at the 1st apron line. In that case they would not be able to sign OG and Isaiah Hartenstein.
