And that's the 1 brand I've refused to buy from since 2001 ... every single product I've ever bought from them has gone bad within the year and I've always had terrible customer support. As a response, I've helped countless companies to get rid of the HP (get rich quick) scheme and none of them could've been happier with the results ;)
Next time, tell us which printers actually check to see how much toner is left, instead of just counting pages printed. We continually wind up throwing away extremely expensive toner, because the printers think that the cartridge is empty.I'd much rather have to replace a cartridge when the copies start to look faded, than just spend a fortune because that way the company can make a mint on selling toner cartridges. But it's almost like a conspiracy, how ALL printer companies have stopped making printers like that.
They actually mention how terrible and invasive HP software, is, yet recommend HP printers as their #1 and #3 choice!! insane. ChatGPT could do a better job. @@registrator123
I have a All in One HP printer reduced to a paper-weight because the firmware update resulted in my genuine HP cartridges to be rejected. HP: never again.
Hello, many thanks for your overview. A quick question: I am looking into Brother MFC-L2750DW. I need OCR scanning in Linux OS. Does it work here? Thank you so much
I was once given an older genuinely made in Japan HP laser printer which was so heavy that it could have doubled for a boat anchor. The lady had lost the 3.5 inch boot floppy. Therefore, I contacted HP for software. They said that they no longer have it available (why, then?) and I should contact an independent repair shop for a download. Not being able to obtain any, I proceeded to dismantle the printer for discarding it. It was heartbreaking, to see how meticulous this machine was assembled. Japanese intricate build quality is nothing anybody can ever access anymore. Since then, HP has gotten my life-long boycott on all of their products
Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. I have been struggling with my ink jet printer printing the intended colors (mauve prints as green pinstripe). I have changed out the cartridges and only use the real HP cartridges too - but still, not getting what I want. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a color laser printer. We have a really old Brother laser printer (at least 11 years old) and it still works like a charm - never an issue and have only changed out the cartridge a few times. I decided to go with Brother and ended up buying the new HLL3295CDW - well, at least the website said it was new. I cannot wait to get it. Thank you, again. We rely on reviews, like yours, here in our house !! 🙂
The Brother MFC-L3710CDW is not to be recommended. While it can scan color quite well, if you are using any Mac OS newer than OSX 10.15, you cannot adjust the color density! In that respect, it is useless. If you never have to scan color and print it, you are fine. If you only need to scan it in color or if you are going to produce color documents in say, Illustrator, those will print fine. I do not feel that buying a color printer/scanner/copier should have those limitations and would therefore NOT RECOMMEND this unit. The fact that this was not mentioned in the review, is not a good sign.
which app are you using to do the scans? The built in macOS scanning app, or Brother iPrint&Scan? How does this issue affect you? I have had one where scanned docs look fine on the computer but when printer again they have almost like a black/grey background tint added to them. Is this what you are referring to or something else?
I don't care about anything, just the one whose toners will not cost a fortune. I have a mono brother which is a good deal, but struggle to find a good colour laser that don't want 5 different toners all costing as much as the printer.
@@spacecadet2172 if you don’t print from your inkjet printer at least once a week the print heads get clogged and you’re stuck with a 20lb paperweight.
Canon was horrible and also ho I have 4 printer hp and canon that are junk they just stop printing 😩 I need a good one for my business and I still can’t decide I am so scared to carry a another giant and heavy printer to my office and then for it to stop working… ugh…
Don't buy an HP. I had an old HP printer that worked with the native macOS scanning utility. At some point it auto updated it's software and wouldn't appear in the utility any more. After googling the issue I found out that I had to install the HP Smart App and create an account (!) before it would let me scan! The printer decided to brick itself a couple of months ago. It was find for years. Then HP decided to turn it's printers into data collection vectors and it killed my printer. Never HP for anything. If making the user experience worse is their MO, then I don't want of their products.
Don't do it. HP SUCKS. Customer Service is terrible. Most reps don't know their ass from their elbows and don't speak English well. The products suck. It's like playing Russian Roullette, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

All the ‘tests’ are sponsored by HP. Frustrating.

Yep these recommendations are ridiculous. Half of them are HP printers and they dont even mention how atrocious unusable the HP software suite is

Same thing happened to me. And it happened just outside of the warranty. Total junk.
Same here! Never buy an HP again!
Thanks for your comment. I was just about to make the "HP mistake" and your comment helped me choose a better printer.
HP Sucks!
HP intentionally brick your printer so you will buy new one
HP printing via subscriptions? requires Account!?!? YUCK!
Hello, many thanks for your overview. A quick question: I am looking into Brother MFC-L2750DW. I need OCR scanning in Linux OS. Does it work here? Thank you so much
If there is a single HP on this list then it's a bullshit list. HP is subscription based and not a print company anymore.
No HPplease, sheer junk
Your link to the Brother L3710 took me to a different model.
Great reviews. Does the HP laser jet printer require that you use HP toner cartridges?
Was this a promotional teaser for HP? printers? Have you heard of Canon printers at all?

Going with the MFCL2750DW by Brother. Thanks. By the way, love your voice and energy and accent.
I have a Lexmark color laser printer and will never buy another one again .. the worst experience I have ever had with a printer
Lexmark was a big mistake i made. The toners are way too expensive.
Thank you, my Brother.
🤜✨🤛
Excuse me?? Subscribtion... FOR A PRINTER?

if you care most about cost of ink and want colour, then an ink tank laser jet is probably your best bet.

I want a laser printer, they are better but monocrome. HP products are suck and a scam but watching this video, is liked sponsored from HP.
Waste effort to buit laser printer if less than $3,000 usd to reduce trash it must be atleast $ 3,000
I am going to buy "HP Color LaserJet Pro Multifunction M479fdw"
You'll regret that decision.
