- In today’s video, I place 5 different fish traps in one of my tiny creek spots that holds TONS of species of aquarium fish like African cichlids! I ended up catching a RARE orange crawfish in a hidden tunnel, and brought it back to put into my fish tank!

The orange crayfish is a color mutation of the Alabama common red swamp crayfish. Procambarus clarkii. They’re commonly sold as “neon orange crayfish”. Insane find by the way. Both of the crayfish look to be procambarus clarkii.

I'm sorry you fell, I hope you are ok, sore I'm sure, but you're very lucky you didn't hit your head on one of the rocks and the culvert. Always make sure someone knows exactly where you are and it never hurts to call them when you get there and when you're getting ready to leave. I bet Brandon wouldn't mind. Stay safe guys 👍🏻

The coloured one can happen in the wild but very rare mostly likely there from selectively bred stock to enhance the changes of getting them so most likely out someone tank or escaped from a fish farm
You should find some herring oil to supercharge your bait. Light coating goes along way. I used to commercial fish for prawns/shrimp with traps for years, all creatures went nuts for it. Helps create an awesome sent trail in currents.

WD40 is mostly fish oil. I never knew that until I saw a fisherman spraying it on bait. I am not sure it is right or legal to do that.

If you had your rod, then you had fishing line, why didn't you just use some of it for the ones without a string? Just a little advice, make yourself a extras box to keep in the truck. Put string, fishing line, extra hooks, gloves, scissors, needle nose pliers and something to clean up with 👍🏻😜👌I'm sure there's many other things that you can add, like a first aide kit and a really good knife.

If you place your camera lens behind your polarised sun glasses, your viewers in theory should be able to see the fish in the water better because it blocks out the sun reflection

These crayfish are really cool even though the orange crayfish isn’t its natural color. It’s probably a Alabama red swamp crayfish. But they are rare in Florida in ponds

You should get a trap in the middle of the tunnel, tie a bobber on and float rope down then pull a trap and leave it for 24 hours. That’s where the smart fancy looking fish are hiding for sure!

The crayfish look like neon red crayfish. Which are variants of the electric blue crayfish which might explain the blue tint on one of them.
