For almost three years, I've battled a debilitating chronic illness. He has given me strength when I literally could not go on so many times.
I am so sorry to hear about your illness. I have experienced chronic fatigue myself. Praise God that He is always faithful and gives the strength that we need to continue on. Keep holding on to this verse:

I first heard this song in 2018 when The Crosbys put out their Eastervideo. Five year old Claire and her dad Dave did a gorgeous video of this song. You did a beautiful cover and the added footage was very special.

I met alot of brokenness working at the hospital but this one particular family stands out. I dont know if its proper to reach out directly anymore but they keep coming to mind, mainly because they were different. I dont know God, but i hope theyre okay.

Hello! Thank you for your message. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out. I watched the video about The Chosen when it came out as well. I am able to understand the concern that's come from what they presented and I have been giving it a lot of thought, but I don't quite see eye to eye with LED on this topic and what was presented for a few reasons and there are a couple reasons I have not come to the conclusion that the video should be removed. I can share those in a private message. I have asked God to convict me otherwise if i am wrong and so I admit my conclusion could quickly change. That being said, I do want you to know that I do not take your recommendation lightly. God bless you and your family.
Would you be willing to have a more in depth conversation with me concerning this? I haven’t watched The Chosen because I was warned long, long ago and too it was never put in my heart to watch it. But I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts concerning this.
@@shannonbrack Hello Shannon, yes I can share a little. I have been trying to stay out of the controversy surrounding the show as much as possible. Outside of this music video I made several years ago, I have not been promoting it publicly. Mainly because I do realize that it is not perfect and while it has been a big blessing to me, others may not find it to be and that's ok.
I know that the video put out by Little Light Studios has given people a lot of concernes about the show. I don't want to say much because then I will be doing the very thing that I disliked about that video, so I want to be careful with my words.
I found that some of what was shared in their video was edited to make things look a certain way, much was left out, accusations that the director has already cleared up where included without giving his response or the other side of the story.
Much of it was aimed more at the people involved in making the show than the show itself and I cringed to think of the effect this would have on them as I am quite certain they have watched it. The director openly supports "The Desire Of Ages" and uses it as a reference while writing the show. But, will seeing that video lessen that influence? I hope not.
The director has always been very transparent and open about where he stands and why he is passionate about making the show and that is something I respect even if I don't agree with everything. I have had contact with him on several occasions and he has been incredible to work with.
The people involved in the making of the show have very different doctrinal beliefs than me, but I try not to judge the content of a presentation by the people involved in making it.
For example, I do not judge a song by the life of the composer. If I did, I would never listen to classical music as the lives of many of the composers were really messed up.
While there is much I disagree with when it comes to the main actor's beliefs, he is also a hired actor doing a job and I don't base my opinion of the content on his personal life. It just does not make sense to me to do that.
The show has its faults, and I do not agree with many of the other projects the actors are involved in besides this one, but for me the show has only increased my desire to study the life of Christ more and read the Desire Of Ages again. It has been a blessing and I can't deny that. But, it is not for everyone and I respect anyone's choice not to watch it.
Could it take a turn at any point and start really taking people down the wrong road? Yes. And I would then have to change where I stand.
Hopefully that all made sense! :) This turned out to be quite a long reply!

Although like you said, written by a person with different doctrine views, my little girls love to sing it. The lyrics are beautiful. I am a Christian, I believe in the Trinity, however many of the hymns we sing in church have a few flaws, written by Catholics dated back centuries ago. As a Christian the most important thing is to win souls to Christ, our Lord Jesus. The thing that I see happening in our age at the moment is the uniting of all religions. That we all worship the same God. There are many ways to God and the new age movement, that we to can all became as a god. It’s very deceiving and subtle but ramping up. You have a beautiful voice!
God bless you on your journey and praying souls will see Christ our Lord Jesus, the Son of God through it and be saved 🥰
@@shannonbrack Yes, there are so many beautiful hymns and songs written by people of so many different backgrounds and beliefs. The question I ask is just, does it contradict or does it fall in line with the Bible.
It is a tough balance. The whole world is looking for unity of religion but we know it won't be unity in the truth. I try to find common ground where ever I can with fellow believers and keep the goal of reaching souls ever in mind while not compromising in my own faith.
