Simply exquisite. I can't decide which part I love best - the lyrics, the guitar part, or the vocal performance. This is beyond lovely, and thank you for sharing this!
I saw the "Shorts" version of this song, last night and commented that it gave me goose bumps. Tonight, I listened to this version, and you completed the task--I was completely reduced to tears (beauty does that to me)! Goodness... It may seem odd to thank someone for making me cry, but that is just what I am doing here. Thank you, Alice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful voice and your talents with us! Thank you. I truly needed that! ❤
Thank you for your heartfelt words, Russell! Comments like this mean a lot to me and remind me what I love most about sharing my music and my voice. So glad you enjoyed this song. The full band version comes out next Friday, 3/24, so keep an eye out for that 😊 It’s a different sound for sure, with the full band, this acoustic version is much more slow and intimate, but this is how I originally wrote it, so it has a special place in my heart. Glad it found its way to yours, too.
@@AliceHoweMusic I do love this original version. As you described it, the, "slow and intimate" aspect of simply guitar and voice, went straight to my heart. Still, I look forward to the full band version (and everything else you have created)! 😁 I'm so happy to have discovered you! What a blessing! I wish you all the best, Alice!
I’m using the partial capo from Shubb on this song (partial capo on the 5th fret, regular capo on the 1st fret). I’m coming out of a “C” shape. The partial capo is wonderful - I recommend getting one and playing around with it. I’ve written a ton of songs with it.
The best version, thank you for this Alice,
Feeling grateful for reminding me there's still something this beautiful in this world.❤
Fabulous just amazing.
Thank you for this exquisite gift of your music❤
Loved it, thank you for posting...
