That’s so crazy. I sat in the parking lot of the hardware store with my headlights on to watch this video and my battery went dead. I pulled out a jump pack similar to the one *in the video I was watching* and jumped it. 😂
I started laughing because we did have a big dog house in the front yard for the longest with no dog, Pop's did store scrap wood in it he would use. I did remember everyone that walked in the yard with caution because of the dog house with an empty chain. I finally took the dog House down when I was cleaning and repairing up the house.
26 now & have been watching Jeff since middle school. The BUDK catalog review really takes me back. cheers Jeff! Glad to see you still doin your thing.
I remember they had a whole store with just catalog in it. It was full of people I was a young kid and didn't understand why people were looking through catalog's? Until my sister told me they are ordering something they didn't carry in the store that it would be sent to there house. Kinda like Amazon today so amazone is nothing new like people think it is.
What a throwback. I was watching these budk videos of yours when I was 9 or 10 years old. I specifically remember oogling at the shurikens (a word I wouldn’t even know if it weren’t for this channel.) I may have even convinced by mom to buy me some. I’m 24 now, and it’s still fun to me. I don’t own any throwing stars, battle axes, or stun guns that look like cell phones, but I do have pretty good taste in knives and flashlights, thanks to Mr. Jeff.
I just wanted to say man, I've been a very long time watcher of this channel, I drifted away from the knife world for a few years but something popped up on my feed and it reminded me about this channel so I came to check in. You really helped me get through some tough times man, I remember the stories you would tell. I truly hope you are well and I'm so happy to see you still at it.
I was 18 when Columbine happened, but I had been wearing a trenchcoat since 94 (bc Eric Draven wore one in The Crow) and I used to get harassed all the time on my way to work by ppl asking if I was in the trenchcoat mafia. When I was in elementary school, I used to draw swastikas on everything, bc I didn't know what it meant. I had seen the symbol somewhere and liked how it looked. I was so embarrassed when I learned what it meant.
Reminded me of the old 1 dollar lock back knives that resembled a switchblade advertised in the back of magazines and when you got them they were 2" little knives LOL.
Seen those curl blade stilettos being sold on ebay for $100+ with some other cheap gimmick knife and they use Emerson Elvia and eds manifesto in the titles to attract eyes.
I love these old school cutlery lover videos
I second that
100 years later and they are still living rent free in everyone’s heads
Never bought from BudK but used to get the catalogue back in the 90s with the SMKW & EdgeCo catalogs
Its not Christmas until the BUD K catalog arrives
That’s wild they’re still around lol I just got a 2011 nostalgia flashback

Just waiting for "...a week later we were robbed"
I pre-emptively poop on my own lawn at 2AM.
Clever thinking. Also helps the credibility of the "beware of the dog" signs.

I never buy anything but the catalogs remind me of browsing them as a kid in the 80s.

a chainsaw sharpener could be a great gift for someone you know who owns a chainsaw and uses it frequently
It’s the closest thing to reliving the edgeco catalog coming in the mail❤️

I miss The Edge Company Catalog
I think you gave out those Ridge Runner knives with your hot sauce you sold. I still have mine.
