Can you give me a sense of how complicated this would be to install? I am very interested but not sure If I could get it assembled myself or have to hire a handyman.
sternztim The Bio Bidet BB 2000 is designed for DIY (Do It Yourself) installation. It's just a matter of removing your existing toilet seat, and installing the bidet's mounting bracket by hand-tightening a couple of bolts. Once the mounting bracket is secure, the bidet slides on to the bracket and "clicks" into place. The BB 2000 connects to the existing cold water line behind your toilet. It's a simple hose you disconnect, and then re-connect. Total install time is about 20 minutes, no handyman required!
ey8002 The BB 2000 is somewhat water resistant from small splashes landing on top of the seat, but not waterproof. It sounds like your toilet is close to your shower. If a small amount of water splashes on your bidet seat from the shower, your bidet will be fine. But if you point the shower head directly at the bidet that will be a problem! But small residual splashes (like a residual mist) won't affect the bidet at all.
parnellrbts The screen on the remote is actually an LCD, not a touch screen. So you'll have to use the buttons below to activate the features, and the LCD has corresponding icons which display to show which feature is being used. But to answer your question, it's super-easy to clean the LCD. Just wipe it periodically with a soft cloth.
My husband is far from being a handyman and he installed it by himself without any problems. Love the product!
Love the remote on this model! Very cool.
I got my bb2000 and I love it my husband installed it with no problem and he is no plumber.

Is it waterproof?
If it's in the shower and regularly splashed water on him from the shower, does this not damage?

Ok,
Thanks
How easy to clean is the touch screen control?

Great features but this model is just so ugly. Their USPA 6800 has a much more aesthetically pleasing design, although missing the on demand heating.
