    - Scene 1 -
Hi this is Lindsay with bidetsPLUS and today we'll be reviewing the Bio Bidet BB 2000. The BB 2000 is Bio Bidet's newest bidet seat, and features several upgrades over their previous generation models.
    - Scene 2 -
One of the first things you'll notice on the Bio Bidet BB 2000 is the silver trim going across the rear of the unit. Towards the upper-left part of your picture, you can see the black LED window which contains three LED indicator lights. The first light indicates the power is on, the second light is for the energy saving mode, and the last light is for the occupied seat sensor.
    - Scene 3 -
One of the most notable upgrades on this seat is its new water heating system. Previous generation models used a reservoir-tank heater which had a limited supply of warm water. But the BB 2000's heating system heats water on-demand, providing you with a continuous warm water wash.
    - Scene 4 -
The upgraded water heating system is more compact as well, taking up less room inside the bidet seat. This results in a design that is 25% thinner than the previous BB 1000 models.
Notice how the electric cord extends from this side of the unit. The vents you see to the right of the electric cord are for the bidet's air deodorizer feature.
    - Scene 5 -
Here's a view of the opposite side of the seat. You can still operate the bidet without the remote control thru the use of the touch-screen side panel. The first button on the left activates feminine wash, the middle button is for posterior wash, and the last button on the right is a stop button. We dimmed the lights in this scene, so you can see how the touch screen panel also doubles as a night light.
    - Scene 6 -
The wireless remote control for the Bio Bidet BB 2000 comes in your choice of two colors -- white or black. This all new-design includes a large LCD display so you can easily see which functions are being used, and at which setting. The remote comes with a convenient wall-mounting bracket so you can mount the remote on the wall.
We found the remote control easy to use. You can hold the remote in one hand and access all of the buttons with your thumb. The buttons are clearly labeled, and corresponding icons appear on the LCD screen as you activate each feature.
    - Scene 7 -
The Bio Bidet BB 2000 features a new wash nozzle that's predominantly made of stainless steel. Utilizing a patented "3 in 1" single nozzle system, you'll find three different spray outlets at the tip of the nozzle. Posterior wash, as demonstrated here, is powered by the spray outlet in the middle.
Next, we'll demonstrate the feminine wash which utilizes the bottom spray outlet, and there's also the turbo wash which is handled by the spray outlet up top.
Nozzle position is completely adjustable so you can adjust the spray more backward or more forward to best suit your body. You can also adjust the water pressure, and adjust the water's temperature.
Use the "Oscillate" feature to move the nozzle back and forth, extending the cleaning area.
You can also activate the "Water Pulse" feature on the BB 2000 which pulsates the water stream.
You can use the "Oscillate" and "Water Pulse" features at the same time as well so it's not just one or the other.
    - Scene 8 -
The bidet seat also has a warm air dryer to help with residual moisture after washing. Bio Bidet has traditionally had some of the best air dryers on the market, and the BB 2000 continues this trend. It's a strong, comfortable stream of air.
    - Scene 9 -
The bidet also features a slow-closing seat and lid, that close softly on your toilet.
    - Scene 10 -
Additional features include a heated toilet seat, with temperature controls. This is a popular feature in the winter months, and during the summer you can turn this feature off. The BB 2000 also has a self-cleaning feature which rinses the nozzle with water before and after each use. There's also a built-in air deodorizer, and an energy saving mode which decreases energy consumption.
    - Scene 11 -

My husband is far from being a handyman and he installed it by himself without any problems. Love the product!

Can you give me a sense of how complicated this would be to install? I am very interested but not sure If I could get it assembled myself or have to hire a handyman.

sternztim The Bio Bidet BB 2000 is designed for DIY (Do It Yourself) installation. It's just a matter of removing your existing toilet seat, and installing the bidet's mounting bracket by hand-tightening a couple of bolts. Once the mounting bracket is secure, the bidet slides on to the bracket and "clicks" into place. The BB 2000 connects to the existing cold water line behind your toilet. It's a simple hose you disconnect, and then re-connect. Total install time is about 20 minutes, no handyman required!

How easy to clean is the touch screen control?

parnellrbts The screen on the remote is actually an LCD, not a touch screen. So you'll have to use the buttons below to activate the features, and the LCD has corresponding icons which display to show which feature is being used. But to answer your question, it's super-easy to clean the LCD. Just wipe it periodically with a soft cloth.

    Is it waterproof?
If it's in the shower and regularly splashed water on him from the shower, does this not damage?

ey8002 The BB 2000 is somewhat water resistant from small splashes landing on top of the seat, but not waterproof. It sounds like your toilet is close to your shower. If a small amount of water splashes on your bidet seat from the shower, your bidet will be fine. But if you point the shower head directly at the bidet that will be a problem! But small residual splashes (like a residual mist) won't affect the bidet at all.

Great features but this model is just so ugly. Their USPA 6800 has a much more aesthetically pleasing design, although missing the on demand heating.
