I wanna see the Camaro v the crow and the falcon v caddy jack!!!!! Lfg!!!!! lol
All I’m saying is idk if the crow has what it takes to fuck with the falcon on a virgin street just saying
@@RaySchneider-n9v 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Quit fan girling
Another awesome display of Chief's troubleshooting ability. He listened to Jackie's feedback, looked at the data, and then proceeded to conduct a forensic tire analysis using an alternate light source. :)!
My wife says that chief is the only other person she's seen that figures out problems like I do. I go through everything but before I touch anything, I always tell myself, keep it simple stupid 💯 chief you really are a great car guy and my favorite racer and Jackie you are just like my wife, a fuckin gorgeous badass ❤️
What makes me laugh is how humble Chief is and watching these you’d never even know they guy has literally been 3s on a radial lmao. Great driving Jackie!
thank you!
All the knowledge he tells us through his videos not hard to see why he goes 3s.
I’d almost bet that he’s been 3s on a big tire no prep not just on a radial
@@54raceman Yeah the car went 3.99 NPK legal at 2820lbs in 2019. Using every bit of 188mph lol
Yes, more Midwest Street Cats! 🤣 Hello Chief and Jackie
howdy!
I follow a lot of channels doesn't matter how many have new videos. I'm watching Midwest Street Cars first.
🙏🏻🙌🏼
Good thing you guys caught that defect on time ,that is a manufacture defect looks like its separating internally from the casing and tread ,couple more passes and it would be catastrophic .
yeah, we could have made another hit but we just weren't comfortable with how much they were shaking the car
Keep it coming Chief. We love to see you and Jackie. I think I’ve seen everything from Pinks until now! Always been a fan!
I knew it was tires, thats where they join the tire together. Thanks for this video, it made my day alot better. Jacki is a true beauty, and fast too.
Chief can solve any issue with any car !! Also so glad caddy jack is being consistent. I’m ready for y’all to throw sink at it and see what it can do ! Great job chief and Jackie
Good catch on the tires chief ! Radial band separation . Mfg. Error.
Great job miss jackie! Seeing how confident you are now and able to communicate information that chief needs is awesome. Keep up the great work guys!
Tires was my first suggestion,I've seen this many times and eventually it will slip a belt especially at the speed she's going radials are known for that but in a street application you can balance it out for a while and eventually it to will bust a belt. I can see it in your camera the faster she goes the worse it got. Thanks for sharing your videos and knowledge. God bless and as always be safe.
Nice to see both you guys smiling.
Love the extra shop time with Big Chief!!! You guys are amazing!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Good video, glad you found it before it became a big problem at high speed. It's pretty wild the same smallblock we watched Mr Brand piece back together is still putting out the power.
Justin that seam is where the contact surface is joined and it looks like it is separating
Those tires 😳 that’s nuts. Good job team 👍✌️
Haven't watched Street Outlaws since yall quit the show. So glad I get to see yall two on the tube. Whenever I take a trip to Edmond I try to stop by and buy a hat, since in live in Mississippi now it's only 2 or 3 times a year. Maybe one day me and my granddaughter will run into yall there.
Big chief and Jackie
Tainks for the new video so quick after your last one 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Glad to see y'all dialing in the whips💪💪💪
thanks for watching!
So, does this mean that old school small blocks are still mean tough machines that can compete? I think 🤔 so! Thanks Jackie and Big Chief for this awesome video 📸.
seems so!
The 69 Olds brought some joy, mine was a 68 (so ugly only the owner could love it)!
Happy to see y’all going to track so sad to hear about Lizzy though RIP Lizzy
Yes more , Thank You Miss.Jackie and Chief
thanks Phillip!
I think it’s great y’all getting out there racing. Jackie your bad azz
Wow, good find on the tires.
I will make sure I check my tires from now on and not assume they're good because they're new.
Chief ur looking good u have lost weight brother,
Proud of ya keep up the great job.
Thx for keeping us fed with vids you and Jackie
Thanks, so much. Chief and Jackie, I look forward to these.
You were right. I'm missing the old street outlaw
I had a set do the same exact thing… luckily MT was at the track and they replaced them right there.
did they give you any insight as to what the issue was?
RIP Lizzy, a TRUE legend.
It’s breaking my heart to hear that she passed away. I cannot believe she did not beat breast cancer nowadays with all the crap they have to beat it How can this be how can this be?
@@DriveSafeDon 33 she barely started her life. All the young girls lost a role model.
@@Final_Boss_Racing totally agree with your comment
crazy! never seen that before in a PBR. i got 6-7 guys in my bracket group that run them 350-450 runs a year!
It looks like the tire got squished for a long period of time on one side and it probably was in extreme heat which created a crease and distorted the tire after it sat for a while like that.
That has got to be one of the best sounding camshaft I've ever heard. Just nasty.
Awesome vidgit y’all! Chief and Jackie (Jackie I’ll ask for your help especially) we need some more candid vidgits of your day to day. We already know y’all’s goofy side but believe me when I say that’s one of the first things I fell in love with watching Big Chief. Don’t really matter what it’s about but seeing the two of you goofing and having fun sure puts a smile on my face!! Just an idea. God bless
The rockabilly intro was killer! Got me all fired up for another video- witch keep getting better every time too. Great job editing and putting these together so we can learn cool shit. Awesome job you guys.
thank you!
R.I.P. LIZZY thank you big chief and miss Jackie for another great video
Hell yeah! Great to see U2 out ther makin progress and havin a good time! Take care!✌🏼
Glad you found the problem
Y'all are the best ever keep up the good work
Big Chief can you or Jackie comment on Lizy passing! We love watching all racers and nobody will step up and say anything? Much respect Chief!
Keep it up !!! Great job!! Both of you !
ALSO Street Outlaws star Lizzy Musi dies surrounded by her family after year-long stage 4 breast cancer battle.. 6/28/24 She died after being diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer, her father has confirmed. OUR Prayers go out to all her family.. Psalm 91
great catch and detail inspecting the tires, may have saved a bunch of troubles down stream.
Yeah Buddy!! Caddy Jack is looking good so far thanks for 2 videos in a row Hell Yeah Buddy 🇺🇸😎🏁
Love your content! Thank you for being so informative with all your car maintenance and track information! Chief, you and Jackie kick butt out there. Looking forward to seeing what all comes next.
Great job locating that. It looks like Mickey Thompson owes yall a new set. Hopefully a rep from them sees this and a couple sets get sent your way to make up for it.
Edit: i spoke too soon. Glad to know you were taken care of. Keep up the great content for us
Imagine having a youtube channel that is way better then the npk one 💪. You guys are the best.
thank ya!!
So it looks like to me that the tire separated internally. I am not sure how the race tires are assembled, but the company that I work for does not assemble radials in that manner where they construct the tire product by product. Normally they are on machines and all the rubber and material required are on reels and as the tire moves down the machine the different types of rubber and products are rolled on. Again, race tires may be completely different, but in my honest opinion, that tire separated. Either way awesome video Chief....to bad it wasn't just the fire extinguisher...LOL !!!
Most of what you guys say applies to relationships.... And as always... Best cat content on RUclips. 😜
Yall are doing awesome. I absolutely love the sbc setup. The Cady Jack is a beast.
I run the same tires and I’ve seen the trough on mine too. I’m glad I saw your video, that’s prob gonna save me some headaches
Mikey Thompson owes you guys a set of tires or 2! That sucks but thankfully nothing catastrophic happened and there wasn’t something more serious wrong with drivetrain components. Thanks for the upload!
Converter sounded sweet! On the first pass. 127.
Love the content and I’m learning a lot from watching y’all. Soon I’m going to build a nos motor and I’m taken notes on all the info y’all get out on caddy jack
How can you not love them❤💕
Let's go 4s Jackie!! You ready for it
DUDE Jackie, amazing shot of the evening sunset 🌇. It was amazing 🤩. Great video 📸. Appreciate ALL the videos, keep 'em coming cool ones. Thanks 👍.
Man Jackie I told not so hard on the ears. Johnson say 4:80😂if she wants the 480 she knows how to get there. So Jackie we need the four second. Nice job guy’s
I had a set of tires for my pickup that I had one just like that, I was told that it is the seam of the rubber layers. Most race tires are built by layering rubber then putting it in a vulcanizer to set the shape and tread. It's almost like the belts had broken if it had them. But yes, look and see from the serial number how old those tires are I bet they pretty old. Good catch
date code 17th week of 2024...
A new video, hell yeah. I am here for it
I had a similar issue with PBRs, I figured it was the beadlocks, but ended up changing to a different wheel/tire altogether...Hoosier DR2 are similar to PBR, but maybe even more forgiving on poor surfaces
Wow that second was quick
Good deal glad that the car is coming around and doing what you tell it to do. Nice driving Jackie👍
thank you!
Because RACECAR
Also RIP 2 LIZZY MUSI & PRAYERS TO THE MUSI FAMILY
Lickity split through the pits, awesome. Great informative video. Keep it up
just sped up, thank you!
Great troubleshooting. Sure it is easy to over look something like tires.
Love it guys keep up the good work
Worked in a big box retailer for tires before….we would see similar issues with brand new passenger and even light truck tires…I was always told that was a molding defect that caused that but as you mentioned banding during shipping….it is possible that they were banded together for a long time as well and sat somewhere until you got them and it caused that (to me looks like a band that would hold tires together to a pallet) if this were to be a big box retailer say jegs or summit I’m sure if you provided them this video and sent them back they would gladly work with you and if not the manufacturer would work with you in replacing the tires
That is wow! Myself I would be inclined to pack them and send back to the manufacturer and ask? What? ,this is safety issue
I was going to guess that it was maybe a bad tire. I had a bad steer tire on my semi and it shook the whole front end of the truck and steering wheel. If you watch the How Its Made video where they show how they make the Goodyear top fuel tires, the issue you had makes sense if the process was done incorrectly. They essentially stagger the different layers at an angle similar to what your tire was showing. Its almost like they didn't stagger the layers enough and had two joints from the layers ended up on top of one another.
No need to hide the 🚬 💨
I scrolled the comments to see if anyone else noticed
its a weird habit he's got lol
@@MidwestStreetCarsAuto I laughed, cause I would do the same thing. I know it's a bad habit, and I"m a little self coscious about it. Oh shit, Chief is human lol...
Don't feel bad Chief I've been smoking for 45 years and I find myself hiding the cigarette when you're filmed yeah I was just wondering how much is a pack of cigarettes 14.00 a pack Juneau Alaska😢
@@chief3378here in north Carolina there $8 a pack for Marlboros but there are cheaper ones for about $4 a pack
Could've raced at Rocky mountain Drag Week right now. Quarter mile action that you all missing. And sorry about the loss of Lizzi Musi Kelly just now. I'm sure there is a charity event on a quarter mile in honor of her and for Kye Kelly himself.😊
Iloveyou too jackie and caddyJack ❤
Let’s go time for another video 👍👍👍
Radial belt separation, it happens. The belts come detached from the rubber and start to overlap each other.
these had more of a big gap where it was really thin
but also only had 4.5 passes on them and was shaking in all of them
Another great educational video. Keep it up I am still learning 😁
That is a heavy splice in the belt! I made tires for 28 years
Manufacturing defect, they gotta give you a new one 🎉
Hope MT will warranty those.
Hey y'all been watching the awesome content I'm an old Aussie hillbilly who loves messing with cars and this may be a really stupid question but I've often wondered does rear wheel offset change the HP put to the ground
Now I understand what you meant when you said there was going to be more about the tire. I hope you also reach out directly to a Mickey Thompson rep. I'd be more interested to know if it's completely random or if they've seen it before. Since they're a fairly new tire, they should want to know about any manufacturing defects. Hopefully John or someone over at baron will bring it to their attention. Is the cutlass still around? I remember Don Dial built a new cage at some point.
Thats crazy id call m/t and tell them. Iv had 4 sets of them and never had one like that yet...
I have 17.5” tyres on my work truck and they always fall apart before they wear out. Just turn into 7 pointed eggs.
Used to race drag bikes for a long time put a brand new Mickey Thompson slick on the bike went to the track first pass bike leaves immediately goes left. Come back check everything don’t see nothing wrong with the bike. Take it back up for the second pass bike leaves immediately left again vibrated real bad went back. Check the slick had a line and it just like what you’re shown in the video called Mickey Thompson. They said send us the slick they sent me a new one. Great video see you on the next one.
Nice licks Jackie & Chief doing good real good keep it up
Back in the day we called them Blems
would be weird to have two of em with the same problem
You're a badass chief and Jackie can drive like a son of a gun but I think you're a mad scientist
thank you!
Justin, that's a broken belt in the tire. Replace them. I don't know how long you've had them but Mickey Thompson may warranty them.
After it's over kick back and have a cold Beer. Peace.
Bad tires Mickey needs to take care of you
That looks like a pallet strap shipping has over tensioned pallet plastic straps
Man when we going to see an update on the vett?!?! Do you still have it???
Keep making killer passes Jackie
Jackie is just simply beautiful 😊
Hit up Justin Hickman for your tires and slicks
Love the content.🇺🇸❤️
thank you!
I know you dont care for the Hoosiers but for small tire the have the perfect side walls. Some C7's or the C7's or their newer released version would probably be the ticket for Caddy Jack
we basically only run hoosiers, we just put these on the day before this video
Outstanding video! Please give an update on the tires should you try them again. Are you going to contact Mickey Thompson with your findings?
i believe baron will
Hell of a catch
Hell yeah!!!
