Adut is a runway and editorial powerhouse. She is so underrated.
Underrated how? Shes everywhere! On magazines, runways, in commercials, ediitorials, ad campaigns.
Michelle Hill agreed! She’s everywhere but people don’t know her like the Hadids.
@@lnterestingg Well as long as the right people know who she is what does it matter. No model will probably be as well known as the Hadids or Kendall Jenner. I mean they started out as insta models with millions of followers. But she's doing great without all that.
Seriously who cares if she is "underrated"? Her checks are secured and she doesn't have to deal with the toxic media. Every major fashion designer wants to work with her. Plus the hadids get the wrong type of media attention they can't even fart without the media having something to say about it.
Still better than models doing 20 or less shows in the top spot.
Adut has a pretty face. Her body is well proportioned, she looks so tall, her walk is good and her expression is innocent and confident

She is absolutely beautiful. This may sound weird, but I really admire how she has a fuller chest in comparison to other models, a lot of designers/casting directors often reject fuller chest/any curves. But Adut just oozes gracefulness
Adut Akech deserves the recognition. She’s very editorial and interesting to look at. She looks like a runway model version of Lupita Nyongo. There’s a reason why the Queen herself, Naomi Campbell, calls Adut her daughter!

Bella Hadid is soooo shockingly good at this!! Despite being in this job due yo nepotism, she really is killing it, way better than her sister in my opinion .
And to think a couple years ago she was terrible runway, she’s trained and worked hard because I remember her old walk and it was a mess, now she’s so fluid on the runway.
She has improved so much, Gigi and Kendall is nowhere near her level

Giedre Dukauskaite is maybe one of the most underrated model in this industry. This girl has been modeling since 2008 and she continues working at 31 yo. What a longevity. I'm impressed.
For real?! I've never heard of her until recently. Wow, that's amazing. Hope she stays underrated (in a good way) because sometimes when model goes commercial, they rarely walk in fashion week.

There are actually good models in this era, but if people kept on behaving as if the old models have more legs and arms than those ones, then no one would see their improvements and appreciate the hard work

Kanika Gupta I think it’s because she’s a model, not an actress. To be a model you need to “win the genetic lottery”, and the idea that you can just go and get work done is off-putting to many. It’s actually very rare for fashion models to get surgery early in their careers, especially now where imperfection is celebrated. Actors are a bit different as they don’t often break through until their mid-twenties and its about more than ‘the look’.

@@pittayayas Yeah. I didn't think she did. I was pretty sure they went from reality television straight into LEGIT modeling. Bella's been underrated since even the show, since I know that Yolanda showed favoritism towards Gigi. And when they started modeling, the media did as well. I didnn't get it. But I can at least respect the fact that Bella and her sister didn't get to where they are by getting plastic surgery, and taking bikini pics all day to post on Instagram. You're right, Bella's beautiful. She seems more suited for print, while Kaia's better for runway.
H P Bella is actually really respected in the industry, she’s grown a lot as a model and is close to a lot of designers and models. She’s also worked hard on her walk, have you seen Bella interact with designers and those in the industry? They adore her. I think the only reason Kaia is respected to her level is because she’s Cindy daughter so she grew up with designers. And she’s already has a close established relationship with designers as those in the modelling industry while the Hadid’s has to prove themselves to the modelling industry.

bella hadid might’ve landed her first job due to her family connection but she’s actually really good in doing her job. she has the face, the body, the walk, and the work ethics of a supermodel. she has a haute couture aura but she can also ace editorial, she’s nice to people she works with and most importantly, she sells. she’s a fashion icon of her generation (whether you like it or not). what she wears, people want to buy and that’s what these brands aim for.
