Excellent video Graham. Loved the old footage - wonderful to see Southbury Road captured back in 1936. In the early 70's, I'd often visit with my school friend Andy Robertson for a Tuesday night game after school. Ian Wolstenholme happened to be our school Sports Master too ! Happy memories, and always loved a subsequent visit to the old ground.
Tommy Lawrence was my grandad, like Tom a commuted West Ham fan Enfield always has a special place in our families heart! Going well in the isthmian league once again and long May it continue!
Remember watching Andy Pape hit a fan at Southbury fan. He let in a soft penalty shot to let Aylesbury win an FA TRophy tie 2-1. As he miserably knelt to pick the ball from the net, a young Aylesbury fan ran onto the pitch to ruffle his hair in a mocking gesture - only for Pape to take a swing at him. The ref did not even book him. Out of sympathy I suppose.
Thoroughly enjoyed your video Graham. Jogged my memory of a few good days / evenings out!
Very good video, Graham

Enfield should have been in the Premier League
I once saw Mario Kempes play at Southbury Road.
