    One question though. Why isn't this stream oversaturated? There are many french speaking african countries who would jump at this stream by simply giving a test!?

      Cost of living and considering canada a home is a reason why this stream is not oversaturated

      @@sukhamritsingh3420 you don't realize there is still the craze of moving there. For someone earning 3-4 LPA in a skilled job canada will STILL provide them a better life

      These "back door" entry schemes into Canada will have to stop eventually. Canadians are pissed at the flood of Indians entering.

    How is life in Quebec? I am from Alberta . I have heard it’s completely different from rest of Canada .-‘ and also very affordable.

      Quebecers do not like English speakers and daily more laws are being put in place to restrict the use of English.

      @@AxAz12515there’s already speaking score too, there is no such thing as psuedofrench speaker, if you can speak,write, listen and read in french, you’re officially french speaker

      @@Twinkletwinkle121 A 'psuedo' speaker is one that passes the language test for the sake of qualifying but unable to carry on a conversation with folks in the language in question.

      @@AxAz12515 they won’t be able to pass if they can’t hold conversation, because in speaking test you are actually supposed to speak with interviewee about whatever they’re asking

    Using the student visa as a "back door" entry to never return to India!!!
    The new Canadian law must be: Finish your "studies" in Canada and then go back to your home country.

    French draws will be confined to native French speakers only. The French pathway for Indians is closed.

      It doesn’t say on the immigration website, nor there is any rule that Indian French speaking immigrants cant apply for french draws…
      As long as they have the required score in french, everyone is happy.

      Really? I just appeared for my DELF A2, planning for B1 now, please tell me if Indians can make it or not, otherwise there's no point of studying french!!

      @@frenchify_with_vyom that’s clearly wrong. The IRCC has addressed the discrepancy between federal immigration policy, which officially defines French speaking immigrants as those for whom French is the first language, and the current draw criteria which have let in many non native speakers who only use the French test for PR purposes and do not speak French in daily life. They fixed loophole which is why you see “Version 1” in all archived previous draws.

      @@hardikkakkar7145 you can still gain additional French points if you achieve NLB7 in all sections, and compete in general draws. They’re only changing eligibility for French draws for which all candidates whose first/primary language is not French will not receive ITAs
