This is the most underrated Child's Play film in the original trilogy I love it as much as the first two because I love how different the setting is and how Andy has become the protector it makes for a cool and new movie each Chucky movie feels different and that is why these are my favorite movies of all time and horror franchise too Chucky has always had one storyline and he is different because of the kid doll like body and makes it about a family setting then your typically teen horror movie setting with forgettable Characters and has the most interesting storyline for any horror movie I love 1,2,3 ,Curse and Cult the same Bride is great Seed is bad and the remake is ok and I can't wait for the tv show I love Chucky he was the one killer who made me have nightmares and I love Chucky as a character

I got to visit the Military School where this movie was filmed, granted, I couldn't go inside it, but my dad parked and I pointed out where some of the outdoor scenes happened (When Andy see's chucky, The nighttime rain scene) I freaked out so badly I think I annoyed my dad ^^' I love scary movies too much for my own good.
The movie's intro is pretty damn scary and chilling,but man the theme song's good!I would just put the tv's sound to the max just to rock the house with that soundtrack!

I miss this old Chucky so much he was so evil and the movies had a vicious sick feel to them. He was that evil and insane and man that was scary for its time. We want this Chucky back who's out killing people because he's a very evil person. Man it was horrifying for its time. You felt bad for the people that he killed. Curse of Chucky the 6th one went back to horror and started taking the series seriously again and Chucky went back to his old sick, evil, twisted self in that film.
I consider this the final chucky movie...Chucky fell in the fan Andy was taken away but eventually managed to live a normal life since he had plenty of witness to not link him with the murders...bride seen curse n I'm iffy with cult only cuz Alex Vincent is returning...but To me Chucky officially died in Child's Play 3.
First three Child's Play movies had their own cool original themes. Then Bride comes out... and it's just a Rob Zombie song. Now I love Rob Zombie's music, but that showed you the direction the series wanted to take; pop cultural.

It somehow captures the killer doll idea perfectly by giving a sense of fun and cheesiness like a toy but with the darker undercurrent which signifies murderous intent.
