Thank you for making this inspiring channel. My dad has always ridden /5 bikes, and I have finally got one of my own. It’s very inspiring to see what you do- to see what a bike from the 70s can become! I enjoy working on motorcycles, and my years of experience are with Honda. However, they never really did it for me. Thanks to your videos, I’m already looking forward to my 2nd BMW. One to ride. One to work on. Thanks again!
Great livery. I think I saw you at the HandBuilt show yesterday. Though I didn't bother you as you looked like you were taking a breather enjoying a nice relaxation break on the chesterfield in the supporter lounge. Will be back today and tomorrow hope to catch a chat then!
Superb machine. Sadly I can’t afford one. If I win big on the lottery (well not even that big) I’ll send you my R100R Mystic from the UK for the full treatment.
@@RoughchildMoto There’s one here just waiting for your treatment! Actually it’s got a great front end and I prefer it to the more gangly GS but your Dakar styling is what it needs. The stock tank just doesn’t really go along with other clutter that can be stripped away not least the heavy battery, the rear end and that oddball instrument panel which looks homemade. Say the word if you want a Mystic!
Another brilliant build. As always I appreciate the true attention to detail. Long live the air cooled bikes. But who is Simon? Is he the Robin to your Batman?
Man this is awesome! Such an iconic bike with modern twist. Love it!
Couldn't agree more! Looking forward to building more of these. Have been stockpiling STs

Don't hesitate to come and say hello next time

Mega bike and thank you. Simon's my assistant, he's very busy and important. Among other duties he's actually responsible for this RUclips channel
slick build! What carburetors are those?
Thank you! Company called SmartCarb, they have a metering rod instead of jets and I like them a lot
Love the smart carbs 👍🇦🇺
cool set up, shame that you had to kill an even rarer bike than the GS to make it though. Still a good looking mod though
ST sat on fb marketplace for over a month, no one wanted it. The bike will now be celebrated by its new owners and will last another lifetime
