I remember immediately wanting to get up and leave him at the table, but I didnt. I had been getting along with him so well and I figured "he's obviously not a racist" (i thought Trump and his supporters were at the time) so i stayed to hear him out. We've been married for almost five years now, and this year, I WILL be voting for Trump myself. I would have lost out on the love of my life if I had walked away for something so silly as who he voted for and what his beliefs are. And wouldn't you know it, I ended up walking away from the Democratic party altogether. I wish more people had open minds. Maybe we would all get along better.

I used to keep that thing right in the main room of my house, so when you walked in, it was easily visible. There were a couple of times that a friend would bring either another friend or a girlfriend they had with them to our weekly RPG nights, and if they had a bad reaction to that stuffed bear, I knew they weren't worth associating with. I sometimes wonder if my friends picked up on it, too, and were using my house as a litmus test. Haha.

As someone who’s from the Middle East, the climate there is very much tense with politics. As someone viewing the US as to be this free and amazing land, it’s more resembling the Middle East in where one’s self is at risk of social “no longer here” should you say or do something that’s not lined with the powers at be. For the 1 in a million which would interest me, I've probably already bought what they're selling. There are loads of tricks to avoid ads online. If they ever found a foolproof way to make us watch ads, I'd quit using any site which used it.
