@@De_La_Soto what you need to do is become an alpha male, to the point where you have so many dating options the idea of her coming back to you isn't your best option. Life is funny that way, when you crave social validation all you'll do is ensure it'll never come to you. All the women and validation that comes with will come when your need for it disappears.

As a man who went through therapy I can add, having this self control is just the first step. The best thing to do, is to discover those issues from the past who are generating those excessive and unrational emotions, and work with them until your inner child is healed. Then it will all come just natural and you'll become that better version of yourself. Once you fix your fundations, you will become naturally solid.
He is so right that as men it’s imperative we keep our emotions under control... I remember in a prior relationship I was super emotional all the time and it definitely turned her off and affected the dynamics of the relationship. Just hold strong and be stoic as a man is the path.
Just curious. What does it mean to be overly emotional as a man? As a man I know we need some feminine energy in order to relate to her our girlfriend but I been told by women that I am emotionless and it is a turn off. What is the right balance?
one thing i learned form my mother that can be applied to anyone male or female is that when something in yourself is supposed to happen, it just happens it can go form finding your dream friend group or even your dream girlfriend/wife

All solid points. Emotional self control in the work place is absolutely necessary. And this is no slight at folks in retail, but you see people capped in their careers and wonder why, because they're smart. But a large percentage of the time it's because they emotionally aren't ready to be professionals. They lack the patience to work hard, eat crow, stay committed.. Goes a long way.
You ever just be positive after being negative for a long time . And people you work with and live with reject the positivity ?and try and turn your positivity into a negative ?
This video might be helpful for things regarding me and a friend. With how she does exactly as you say, she pushes my buttons and she may not even realize it. It leaves me mentally in a weird headspace where all I've wanted to do is have a better friendship with this person. I don't have those same issues I do with her with other female friends, seriously. So it's serious food for thought.
Haven't finished the video but I will agree that it is very very important for men to be stoic and have emotional control, especially over anger. You see a lot of emotionally unstable dudes killing some dude over a girl who will end up leaving them or get killed by a guy because he was talking shit and couldn't control himself. These dudes get upset/irritated too easy or as you said, look for trouble.
