I have the 2020 model since september 2019 and i'm not that happy about. The paintjob is awful. The clearcoating gets scratched easy by bags end straps. But even worse: the paint and the primer peels of at the mounting points. That happend the first time i unscrewd the bolts. For me that is something that not should happen on a bike in this priceclass. On a steelframe it also goes along with rustproblems.

For someone who knows nothing about bikes but is trying to get into it... Should I pick up an older LTD model or stick with a 2020 regular model. Thanks!

Hey, honestly you should be fine with earlier models.. The only real difference is more eyelets on the fork for the 2020 model... @@michaelben-zur3337 Yep. It turns out that you can download printable pdf from Apidura site, glue it together and measure next to your bike. I printed both versions, 14L was too big, bought 12L version, fits great. Sutra ltd 2020, frame size 56.

@@michaelben-zur3337 If you have 2020 LTD (featured in video) or 2021 LTD (gold frame), 12L should fit great on size 54!
2021 ULTD (red frame) and 2022 LTD (blueish-green) have different geometry and smaller frame triangle, 12L probably won't fit there.

@@CycleTravelOverload it is surprisingly fast and nimble. I changed the bars to On One Geoff bars ( www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBOOGBV2/on-one-geoff-handlebar ) as I do not like typical flat bars for longer rides either. The bar choice was good. It is an excellent bike: capable and comfortable.

Yo, was checking youtube for new sutra ltd videos weekly. And now you!)) I have this bike in preorder, waiting to get, also 56cm frame. Where I can see more pictures of your frame without bags? Maybe you have Instagram?
As with frame size, the overall looks of bike changes drastically because of geometry of internal triangle. Most of bikes on the web are 52cm small frames...

Nope, he's not. actually if you come from the mtb world, you should be advised that road frames are way taller. So this is why you shouldn't leave your seat too high. Generally on bikepacking/gravel, having your saddle aligned to your bars is a good sign of comfortable rides

@@patientswim6888 yes, it's measured from the center of the BB to the top of the saddle's surface. But if you're riding this kind of bikes and the bars are way too high or low, then you need to set up a better config. Also, look at the original comment. It was a vague comment. I won't spend my energy (as both of us here right now) explaining things that kind of people won't be reading. Tbh I just sent a slack reply to a slack comment.
