- Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs signed into law Thursday a repeal of the state's 1864 near-total abortion ban. The law will temporarily take effect in the summer before the repeal kicks in. The state will then revert to its latest policy, which is a 15-week abortion ban.

Give WOMEN their medical rights to make decisions about their own body.....
BIDEN 2024….
The conservative train of thought has always been, government out of the homes, government out of the bedrooms. Whatever happened to that conservative thought, and policy ?
"Rules for thee, but not for me."
They shouldn't stop there. They should look at ALL blue laws and antiquated laws and repeal them BEFORE it becomes a crisis.
Katie won't do that. She only signs laws the lefties like.
Thank you Governor Katie Hobbs for standing for women and their rights to make their own health care decisions
Saying hello from California. GOOD JOB Katie Hobbs & Arizona! 👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
From NYC, NYS... Congrats on common sense Arizona. 😊
Thank you👏👏👏VOTE💙🙏🇺🇸🫡
Thank you for your work in overturning the abortion ban and turning the repeal into law. Hurray!
Thank you, Governor Hobbs and Arizona, from Nevada. Our state is already overburdened by those who can afford to travel coming here for the health care needs their states refuse to provide.
Good!
How many of those opposed to abortions wore their masks during the pandemic? An amazing number of them were suddenly pro choice when it affected THEMSELVES.
Such courage! Finally somebody came to women’s rescue!
Thank you!
Thank you Jesus for protecting the women of Arizona from the Republican's deadly abortion bans.
Congratulations Arizona.
Go Gov Hobbs!!!
Thank you Governor 🙏❤️
Well spoken all! Well done, the wave is building!
Nope 😆 Americans care more about the poor economy and the open border
Go Katie❤ History will thank you❤
Thanks to the Democrats. ❤
Did you know this law was recodified in 1977 by a Democrat state legislature and signed by a Democrat governor?
I, for one, did. And I don't care. I'm more concerned about what politicians are doing today than in the 1970's.

Here’s what’s interesting, the majority opinion in Roe v. Wade was written by a lifelong Republican and decided by a Republican majority.
Harry Blackmun (Nixon, R)
Lewis Powell (Nixon, R)
Warren Burger (Nixon, R)
William Brennan (Eisenhower, R)
Potter Stewart (Eisenhower, R)
Thurgood Marshall (LBJ, D)
William Douglas (FDR, D)
Those who dissented on Roe vs. Wade:
Byron White (Kennedy, D)
William Rehnquist (Nixon, R)
This was Nixon administration.
Richard Nixon was the 37th president of the United States
and member of the Republican Party.
@@nolwino Republicans get full credit for overturning Roe v Wade. I'm curious to see if they lost the white educated female voters or party crossovers to the Dems.
@@Paul-McB Agreed. 100.
It’s without a shadow of a doubt that they lost a huge chunk of female population from all walks of life. From all political ideologies, all ethnicities, all ages, etc…
Great job Katie!
Thank God.
Thankgoodness for Arizonas GOP Senate and GOP House for passing such an old drocanian law. Thank you GOP this could not have happened wihout you!!!
they didn't pass any DRACONIAN law. They REPEALED it. Think it through before you type it.
Abortion is healthcare plain and simple lawmakers have no business butting into medical decisions!
Vote 💙
Unless it’s the jab right? 😆 you 🤡
Healthcare is regulated by the government in a million ways.
If the GOP in Congress pass a national law, this won't matter.
What are you going to do to stop that? Vote vote vote

GROW UP SAVE A LIFE
Gee another baby killer talking
Awwe. How cute. Someone who thinks a stranger’s medical care is your business & should be decided by you, & then in turn you should have someone else control YOUR medical care. Only makes sense
So, how did you feel about wearing the masks that saved lives during the pandemic, including babies? Were you pro life then, or pro choice?
Hobbs looks like a baby killer
She loves women's rights. Keep politics out of the doctors office.
Remember kids, abortion bans are not about babies' rights. Many of the babies "saved" by these bans are minorities, and the bans often make no exception for fatal fetal anomalies.
Their goal has always been to punish women.
Sure. Coming from a person who is perfectly fine with the number of pregnant women dying from lethal childbirth, including all the SA victims who are forced to carry the babies of their rapists. Ignores all the babies in foster care being neglected. Lastly, refuses to acknowledge and help all the babies currently dying and suffering in Palestine.
Yeah…. Totally “pro-life” of you. Who is truly the killer here? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So it’s still legal in Arizona
