i definitely feel like chuuya would be way more surprised at some of that stuff, because the stuff xie lian experienced is quite literally impossible to comprehend
also there was a LOT of san lamg thirst traps and like 1 thing that mentioned anything slightly related to him being a ghost king.. and dying... 3 times
you could've also said jun wu was mentally torturing him and could've explained the plague

@@kxzuluv yea chuuya went through a lot but i think even with his experience he'd be a bit shocked to see a single person experience being stabbed by 100 swords, watch his whole kingdom violently die while the blame was placed on him, walk in on his parents hanging bodies, get mentally tormented for years to the point where he commits, being staked into the ground and buried in a coffin for 200+ years over a false accusation, i mean i could go on.
like chuuya went through his own torture but xie lians was just on a inhuman scale, cause he is literally a 800 yr old god. chuuya may be a vessel of a god, but he has the heart and mind of a human who has only lived around 20 or less years, he could never imagine such horrors because nobody would survive it in his universe.

or, maybe he didn't want to comprehend it at all, it's all things humans do
in the end, you can feel sympathy for the person, understand that what they went through is too much yet still not show visibility in the face
I feel like William would be surprised about a few things too, William is only around 100+, years old while Xie Lian is 800+ . Xie lian has encountered and dealt with more than William could have ever imagined, Williams only killed people and his family, there's no way that Xie Lian has gone thru less than William, it angers me a bit.

I most definitely feel like some of the characters (if not most) are ooc which is bound to happen of course since most of these characters have a complex personality. The angst felt a bit jumbled up and vague which could be better. The reactions are decent and so are the videos.
Although it icks me how William is smiling and saying stuff that Xie Lian most definitely knows and is acting like Xie Lian hasn't done stuff worst than him (even though it was for the greater good, Xie Lian most definitely could beat almost everyone in the reaction.)
